Rated 3 out of 5 by 123456 from great Product the product is great as long as it workes dosent last more than 2 years !!!!!!Date published: 2020-01-06Rated 3 out of 5 by Hoosier gal from I wanted to love this iron I wanted to love this steam generator but frankly I don't. It's my 3rd Rowena steam generator so I obviously like the units but they only work for so long. I need their great power in my quilting. This newest one didn't come with instructions and the online ones are a joke. Can't even tell what the pictures are telling me. Have no idea what to do re the descaling or what the eco button does. I press it but nothing seems different. Unit frequently stops producing steam. I have to shut it off, wait 5 minutes or so and start it up again. If it didn't cost so much I'd rate it much higher but it has too many problems for what it costs.Date published: 2019-12-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Rla* from Great compact steam iron This thing actually replaced an older one and it is 1,000 times better if you have an older model put it on the shelf and buy this oneDate published: 2019-10-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Walt from Offers good varieties. I bought this for my wife so that she has better results than having a regular steam iron. Why? Well it is because I bought her one previously and it recently it got "tired" due to age. It was an early version, maybe 15-20 years old or maybe even earlier, and was so good I had to get her another one! She loved it! We just hope this one gives the service that the original one did! In recent times I read about the foreign made Rowenta Irons have had many problems and we hope this one is as good as our original iron.Date published: 2019-10-07Rated 4 out of 5 by Setg from Great steam iron Perfect to iron heavy clothes.almost works like a commercial steamer at the dry cleanerDate published: 2019-10-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Bonnie50 from Great quality So far I am very happy with this iron. Only one thing, I wish it wouldn’t cut off so quickly when idle when I am sewing as I go from sewing to pressing & back & forth a lot.Date published: 2019-09-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Jonesro from Powerful steam, shut-off confusing I've been using this about a month. I'm a quilter and I was really looking forward to the powerful steam and infrequent refills of the water vessel. However the thing that sticks out is how quickly it shuts down if I leave it sit, and then it's very confusing to get it going again. It relies on your interpretation of blinking lights to tell you what it's doing. The "manual" has zero actual information-- just enigmatic pictograms. I eventually found a help page online that described what happens with these blinking lights. So I have it mostly figured out now. But my biggest complaint is that it shuts down after only eight minutes on the cradle--this is too short, and it takes more than two minutes for it to come back to life and provide steam after it has done so. I consider this a real flaw In its design.Date published: 2019-08-24Rated 2 out of 5 by Gedion from good work but...... i rather shut it off instead of shutting on its own, or had they provided a shut off button. its good on cotton but on linen ive to spray easy starch and i was hoping for cloud forming steam.any way because of the annoying shut off and the time to restart i am going to return itDate published: 2019-08-23
