Rated 1 out of 5 by Q Ball from Does not work. Very disappointed. It only works on about one out of three bottles. More than 1/2 the time it just chews up the cork and I have to open with a regular cork screw. I am going to take it back.Date published: 2019-02-11Rated 4 out of 5 by jane_leigh from Fast/Easy/Fun way to get your drink on! PRO's: the wine opener is really effective. Just a light push down on the exposed cork and this little machine springs into action and gets the cork out! You don't need to twist, just hang on!! After a second or two you simply lift up and the opener reverses, popping the cork off. Pretty cool! Also the battery lasts a REALLY long time after the first charging - you can keep track using the little LED screen on top. CON's: would have given it 5 stars but was initially confused where the foil cutter was. Turns out it was in the lid and doesn't work that great.Date published: 2018-06-06Rated 1 out of 5 by Sad wino from Terrible quality, bad battery life We were excited to get an electric corkscrew that was hopefully hassle free. It worked well for a few weeks, then began faulting and didn't have enough power to completely get a cork out, and would require recharging to eject the cork. I went to the Rabbit website, and they suggested most returns are because they are overcharged as it is "not designed to be continuously plugged in. I kept it unplugged a few days and it worked a little better. Now after a charge it has enough power to usually get a cork out, but often require manual assistance. It always has to be charged again to eject the cork. My neighbors have a cheap Oster that works flawlessly. I may try to exchange it through Rabbit, but will likely cut my losses and get a different brand.Date published: 2017-09-08Rated 5 out of 5 by ndfitz from We disagree In spite of the couple of terrible feviews this opener received, I purchased it for my husband for his birthday. We both love it. We use it nearly daily and during parties and it is fabulous. I will be giving one to friends as a wedding gift this month!Date published: 2017-09-03Rated 1 out of 5 by Cece from Stopped working within 60 days - VERY DISAPPOINTED It originally worked well, but within 2 months began chewing up the corks making it almost impossible to remove the cork. I would not recommend anyone buying this product. I have the traditional rabbit and it works fine. Expensive and it should have worked for more than 2 months.Date published: 2017-06-06Rated 1 out of 5 by CAGrandmom from Expensive and had to return After the first 3-4 pulls it started ripping up the top of the cork and getting stuck. This happened with several different bottles, some of which cost $60-$80 so it definitely was not the cork. I had to rescue these corks with an old fashioned hand corkscrew which is hard on my injured shoulder, hence I had bought the overpriced, defective Rabbit electric one.Date published: 2016-11-22
