Rated 5 out of 5 by tea4two from Best glasses in the universe! I've owned Picardie glasses for over a decade. You can drop these glasses and 8 out of 10 times they bounce (well, it depends what they land on). Made of tempered glass; they hold hot and cold beverages. They come in the perfect sizes. I love these glasses and will only own Picardie glasses for the rest of my life!Date published: 2017-04-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Breadbaker5 from Perfect size versatility and durable I use these as everyday glasses and throw them in the dishwasher constantly. Love the second smallest size for espresso/latte and juice and the smallest size for espresso shots. Use the two larger sizes for water. No issues with chipping or scratches. I store them stacked in the cupboard which is the best as they take up so little space.Date published: 2016-07-15Rated 5 out of 5 by FRich from Great glassware for the price! These are pleasant to the eye, easy to hold and seem to be extremely durable! A side note is that W-S does and incredible job of packaging so that your purchase arrives in one piece.Date published: 2016-07-07Rated 2 out of 5 by shagen from chipped glasses I have had these glasses for 4 months and 3 glasses have already chipped. I am not sure these are dishwasher safe, as others have stated.Date published: 2016-04-14Rated 1 out of 5 by critic123 from badly etched - not dishwasher safe. Very disappointed in my set of 24 glasses. Just 2 in our family so they do not get heavy use( like in a French tavern), but the glasses are so badly etched by my dishwasher that I no longer can serve with them. If you buy them , do NOT consider them dishwasher safe!Date published: 2015-10-22Rated 4 out of 5 by Allthingsgoodtaste from Wonderful, except when they break I really like drinking from these glasses. They are sturdy and easy to clean. Inexpensive and I like the style. If dropped though they shatter into hundreds of pieces like a broken windshield. You don't have to drop them from very high to achieve this. They are not expensive to replace though.Date published: 2015-08-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Vineyarder from Most Durable Glasses ever! I have used Picardie Glasses for 30 years. They are so durable. A real kitchen basic that everyone should own. Recently I replaced some older ones with a newly designed version that is sleeker, lighter ,and more attractive. Thank you Williams-Sonoma for continuing to carry such quality items for the kitchen and home! I am still using 16 of them....in 22 years I have only had 2 break. I now want to order more as our family has grown larger and we now have 5 great grands... We are now disabled seniors and on limited pay, but, I consinder these tumblers to be well worth itDate published: 2015-06-10
