Rated 5 out of 5 by mrusso from Why didn't I buy one sooner? I just recently bought my Airfryer and have been almost exclusively using it for a month now. I will never cook chicken breast the same. I bought the extra attachment grill pan along with some non-stick spray to use and just put marinated chicken breast in at 350, 13-15 depending on thickness and the result is the most juiciest and flavorful chicken I've ever had. Clean up is easy. I've also used it for salmon wings, fries and chicken nuggets for the kids. I've raved about this gadget that my friend bought one and my mom wants one for Christmas. Really happy with my purchase!Date published: 2018-10-08Rated 5 out of 5 by chanwillzoeash from The best Air Frye on the Market. Hand Down! This is the best air fryer I have ever used. We cook a lot of fish and chicken at our house but we never batter them since we like them a bit more healthier but deep frying them in oil defeats the purpose. I was reluctant to purchasing this worried that the fish and chicken will not come out crispy but holly cow they sure came very crispy and moist from the inside. You really don't need to batter the chicken just coat them with spices and seasonings and they will still come out crispy. Also one thing that really annoys me is when baking frozen sweet potato fries they hardly come out crispy but with this air fryer they come out very crispy and delicious. The only thing I noticed when I first used the air fryer the first batch of fish tasted a bit plasticy but after the second batch the fish they tasted normal from there on. I think for the first time using this your food will taste a bit funny so my recommendation is to turn on the air fryer at 350 degrees for 10 minutes with nothing inside to let the chemical smell out then wash the whole basket with soap and water. I have done a lot of research on air fryers and I find this very quite, less time spend on cooking in the kitchen and very easy to figure out how to use. Also the white design is very attractive and sophisticated to look at. Being alive and healthy it the best you can do to yourself so no more greasy food! I'm really happy with this purchase.Date published: 2018-02-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Carjo from Great Product I now own two of these appliances and love them! Have made many things that come out delicious—a whole roasted chicken, salmon (excellent), brought home restaurant fries and reheated(delicious), chicken cutlets—crispy outside, moist inside. So little oil used with great results. And clean up is a snap. Haven’t had any issues with the basket peeling as with other brands. And it’s especially great in the summer when it’s hot and you don’t want to heat up your whole kitchen with the big oven. It would be nice to be able to control the exact temp better with more exact increments but I have’t found this to be a significant issue. Great product—great purchase.Date published: 2018-01-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Pbuss82 from Great machine, easy to use with great results We love this air fryer. It is our first one and I knew I wanted a philips. We have cooked chicken parm, french fries, a steak, salmon, jalapeno poppers and bacon in it so far. It cooks things wonderfully and quickly. I ALMOST gave it a four star rating for the fact that someone else pointed out...it only allows 25* temperature settings...350,375, 400,etc..You are not able to set to 360*...this is a minor thing to me, i just adjust cooking time. But it would be nice if Philips would change this.Date published: 2018-01-02Rated 5 out of 5 by cooking fan from Great french fries! Bought this to replace our deep fryer for the occasional fries and wings. Just tired the XL size of this air fryer, fit 6 fresh cut pototes with skins, with 2 Tbsp olive oil, 30 min to cook - and were great! Looks and tastes just like regular fries, without the greasyness! Impressed, and definately recommend. Also, no odor throughout the house like old deep fryer. Easy clean - just the non-stick deep pan. Trying wings next! Recommend the XL air fryer if you have family of 4 or more!Date published: 2017-12-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Lexilaw from Great gadget, easy to clean, healthier than frying I've had the Philips Airfryer for about 4 months now and I still love it. We have limited counter space, so the compact size was what originally drew me to purchase it, but the easy cleaning and performance make it our go-to for at least a few dinners a week. We probably need to experiment more with the machine, but for now we make lots of frozen fries and wings in it. I've tried tossing Brussel Sprouts in olive oil and popping them in the fryer, and they are really yummy too. Terrific, easy to use product that's holding up well. And that you can pop the drawer and basket into the dishwasher? Even better! My husband (who isn't a great cook), uses it to make fries when I'm not around and he doesn't complain about cleaning up afterward. It's also pretty quiet when it's running, which is another plus.Date published: 2017-12-15Rated 2 out of 5 by Romancecil from This is a well made fryer I am overall happy with is product, but I gave 2 stars due to the limited temperature setting on this machine. It has 25 degrees increments only. Cannot use 360 degrees. It jumps from 350 to 375 and so on. Very limited temperature settings. SorryDate published: 2017-12-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Justin from Just an amazing product on so many levels! Just received and used this product for the first time recently, and I’m left wondering ‘why didn’t I buy this sooner’? The revolutionary engineering which perfectly cooks food without any oil/fat or grease is truly remarkable. Frozen french fries were the test for me, and the Phillips Airfryer did not disappoint. Previously cooking fries at home involved pre-heating the oven, baking the fries spread out on a cookie sheet. Halfway through you had to flip each individual fry over so they would bake evenly. Inevitably you would be left with have scorched, unevenly cooked fries which stuck together or to the pan. With the Phillip Airfryer, there is no preheating, the fries are evenly cooked, you merely have to shake the fries halfway through cooking. The result are french fries which are golden in color, hot, crispy and delicious. There is no grease, no mess. I’m in love!Date published: 2017-12-01
