Poached eggs are delicious to eat but intimidating to cook – until now. Oxo's high-heat silicone design cradles and shapes the egg into a perfect round, while the funnel shape guides it into the water to prevent the yolk from breaking. A carefully designed hole pattern optimizes water flow around the egg for even cooking. When it's ready, the heat-resistant tab helps you safely remove the poacher from the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan from They work! I had never been able to poach an egg before buying these.Date published: 2019-03-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Diane from Perfect poached eggs every time Until I saw the fill line on the poacher, I was only filling the pan up to the middle of the poacher. The eggs turned out perfectly. After finding the fill line, and filling the pan to that point, the eggs spread more and weren’t the perfect poached eggs I was making at first. Vinegar is a must. I’ve made several eggs in one pan. After 2 minutes, I move the poacher and drop in another egg.Date published: 2018-07-26Rated 5 out of 5 by JanTheBaker from Works As Advertised I wasn't sure I was going to like these silicone egg poachers, especially after reading several negative reviews below. But I was pleasantly surprised that everything worked as advertised. I used a 2 1/2 Quart Sauce Pan, which had plenty of head room to fill the poacher up to the fill line. I kept the boil to almost a simmer. The egg came out so pretty and tasted good, as well. I'm fairly good at poaching eggs the old fashioned way, so maybe that's why this worked so well for me. You would expect some fluffy stuff to spill out into the pot because there is water in eggs. To alleviate this, just put the eggs in a strainer, first. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.Date published: 2018-05-29Rated 1 out of 5 by MsFox from These dont work I followed the direstions but when you crack The egg into the water it just slips through the hall into the bottom. Complete mess. I’ve tried it multiple times and it never works. Save your moneyDate published: 2018-04-23Rated 3 out of 5 by deeLicious from Nice but... i like the beautiful shape of the eggs when done, but...these poachers require a very high pot to meet the 'fill' line. also they are wide creating further issues. i have all clad, green pan, many bourgeat copper pots etc still it's difficult to find the right height, width. THEN it takes a LONG time to heat the water. for one or two eggs not worth it. i will keep searching.Date published: 2018-04-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Claire from Mother's Day Lifesaver I hosted Mother's Day brunch for my fiancé's family, including my future Mother-in-Law, whose favorite brunch food is Eggs Benedict. I bought the OXO Egg Poacher the day before. It is very easy to use and worked perfectly. I just cracked the eggs over the hole, and 3-4 minutes later a perfect little poached egg could be fished out of the pot. 12 poached eggs (made two at a time), and every. single. one. turned out beautifully. I would recommend it to a friend in a heartbeat, especially for its ease of use and accuracy.Date published: 2017-05-14Rated 5 out of 5 by LilMsFoodieSWFL from I can't believe it works!!! After a lifetime of lame poached eggs, never looking like the pretty pictures, I ordered this egg poacher set. It was cheap enough and I could have a good laugh later and add it to my drawer of stupid kitchen gadgets (kale stripper anyone). Imagine my amazement when the gizmo actually worked and two respectable poached eggs emerged on my first try. Way to go OXODate published: 2017-04-19
