Use & Care


  • For use with Nespresso coffee capsules only.
  • Coffee capsules are easy to order for delivery within two business days; for details, visit


  • Hand-wash water tank, capsule container and drip tray.
  • Wipe base clean with a damp cloth.
  • Avoid harsh detergents and abrasive cleansers.
  • Use Nespresso de-scaling cleanser every 6–8 months to remove buildup. Do not use vinegar.
  • For the frother, remove whisk from bottom of jug and rinse under water. Wipe juginterior clean with a damp cloth.

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

  • Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honestly, I am SO glad I bought this. I purchased my Pixie and frother from the Trolley Square store in Salt Lake City about 7 years ago. Everyone there is SO friendly and helpful (really both stores in Utah are!). I have had my machine for some time and it has been one of the best purchases I have ever made! The coffee is ALWAYS amazing. My brother is AMAZING. I love the foam it creates. I love the size of this machine as well. It has traveled with me camping, to California, Hawaii, and Alabama. I am purchasing another one just for my desk at work as the coffee there sucks. I have read complaints that the machines leak.. this is true. However, it isn't anything that is just awful. I think people are too sensitive and expect a little too much out of things. I typically pull my machine out of its spot about once a month and do a little wipe and it is just fine. I have only had to deal with customer service on Nespresso's side a few times over the years and every time they have been wonderful to work with. The pods always arrive onetime as well. I just order when I am down to my last sleeve- and never have any issues. Again, one of the best purchases I have ever made!!

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good espresso but some questions I set it up using the instructions - when I did the rinse (press Lungo and repeat 3x to rinse), I noticed some water dripping in the back part where the empty capsule container is supposed to go. Is this normal? After that, I tried it with a capsule in - there seemed to be less water dripping but still a little dripped into the capsule box. It seemed to be water, not espresso. Anyone else have this issue? The espresso was very good, though. I haven't figured out how to make cappucinos, etc., I will get to that later - I just set it up today. One more thing is the drip tray cover is like painted metal, and straight out of the box the paint on it is peeling! That was not a good sign because it just gives a cheap impression, and this product was not cheap! I know it's only a small part, but still, it bothered me.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Customer SErvice leaves a lot to be desired LOVE the coffee, customer service, not so much. Problems started after descaling and only one month out of warranty. First issue, after descaling, following instructions, there was a definite taste. When I called Nespresso, I was told to run water through it a couple more times and to "open a window". I politely said thanks and ended that call. She obviously didn't listen. She was pleasant, but NOT helpful at all. After descaling is when major problems started. Both settings, after a couple drops spurted out, it would shut off. I'd push the button again and it wouldn't do anything. Capsule ruined! Or just water comes out. Weak coffee AND capsule ruined. When I called Nespresso, the gal "surmised" it was the pump. I would need to pay $125+repairs. This was only ONE MONTH out of warranty. I expected at LEAST an offer to replace capsules that were ruined until the machine completely ceased to work. At best, I thought they would replace it because it was only ONE MONTH out of warranty.

She, her husband, and one-year-old are in a residence inn for two months, after a transfer. A cappuccino every morning gets her day going right. She loves it!!! She looked at many of the options, read reviews, and ended up choosing this one. She is not sorry.

Shipping was super fast and also my first order of capsules with Nespresso was fast as well. Overall a great experience - purchasing and using! The size of the Pixie is so perfect for counter top use. And I've been so happy with the aeroccino as well (despite reading negative reviews). Highly recommend!!

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice machine, horrible customer service Granted, it's a nice machine, but dealing with Nespresso customer service has proved to be a nightmare. Keep in mind, if you're considering plunking down $300 - $600 for some kind of machine, you have no choice but to order from Nespresso. Stores don't carry the pods. I've tried for 5 days to simply change to my new e-mail, and have been unsuccessful. All things being considered, I'm going back to my stovetop espresso pot.
