Rated 5 out of 5 by skigirl from Like the old days, but better! When I was young (1960's) we received my grandmother's old mangle when she got a new one. I loved that thing, my mother paid me 5 cents per pillowcase to iron. That one operated with your knees. I was thrilled to see this online, didn't even know they were still made. I received this for a late Christmas present to myself at a special price and used my 10% WS coupon. It works great, love that it folds down and I can push it into a corner. I think the foot pedal is easier than using your knees and does feature a press and hold "spot". And, OH! the sheets! so smooth, so crisp yet soft, there's really nothing like it. They do need to be quite damp, I only dry them for 20 minutes (king size). I still need practice with the back yolk of a shirt and waistline of pants and things but I'm happy to report there is no longer an ironing pile whatsoever! Placemats, napkins, even this dishtowels are ironed. If you can, definitely splurge on this, you won't be disappointed!Date published: 2016-02-15Rated 5 out of 5 by 1OldGuy from Great produckt Works wonderful can Iron most items with ease. The only thing that it does not do well are long sleeve dress shirts. I was able to get all my ironing done in a fraction of time that it takes to do it by hsand.Date published: 2015-12-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Peppersock from Love, love, love this iron My mother always had a rotary iron but it was so heavy and bulky. My husband surprised me with this one for my birthday a few years ago. This is a game-changer. It is so relaxing to sit down and iron. It does a great job. I mix my own starch and keep it in a spray bottle and it works so well on everything. Highly recommend.Date published: 2013-02-26Rated 4 out of 5 by Millvalleygirl from The Best Iron Ever I've had this iron for 3 years and we're buying a 2nd one for our vacation home. I also have the Miele dryer w/the rotary iron setting. Other dryers are hard to get the proper moisture level in the items that need ironing. It's an investment, but a necessary one if you like fine linens.Date published: 2012-06-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrclean from Best rotary iron I have wanted this iron for awhile, I am so happy I finally purchased it !
