Our vibrant sauce blends tangy Meyer lemons with mellow roasted garlic and fine California Chardonnay, highlighting the bright flavors with French Dijon mustard and herbs. Ingredients are slowly simmered to create rich, flavorful sauce that normally takes hours of careful tending to prepare. Preparation couldn't be easier: Just brown chicken pieces on the stovetop, then add the base and simmer in a Dutch oven or slow cooker.

- Chicken broth (water, dried chicken stock, salt, carrot stock, celery stock, gelatin, onion stock, chicken fat, chicken, chicken skin, tapioca starch, natural flavor), onions, lemon juice, Chardonnay wine, granulated sugar, extra-virgin olive oil, chicken demi-glace (chicken stock, mirepoix stock [carrot, celery and onion stocks], roasted chicken stock, dried chicken stock, modified food starch, water, gelatin, salt, white wine, chicken fat), roasted garlic, whole-grain Dijon mustard (vinegar, mustard seed, salt, water, white wine, spices), modified food starch, Meyer lemon juice, lemon peel, sea salt, thyme, sage, black pepper.

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.
Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

My husband and I love lemon, but were a little surprised to discover the lemon flavor was quite subtle. Nonetheless, we were pleased! I made the recipe according to the directions and wow, it was delicious! I took some to my mother (who is quite picky) and she loved it! Will definitely buy again! Now, if Williams Sonoma would only bring back the Red Pesto Pasta Sauce, I’d be in heaven! Hint, hint! I browned it in a dutch oven and put in the oven on 300 with this braising liquid over it with a touch of water to thin it out. I cooked it for several hours until it was falling apart. A picnic roast would also work well. My handyman was working at the house and said it smelled divine so I made him a sandwich with the meat and he asked for a second helping. She said she made it with about 4-5 lbs of chicken in a slow cooker and serve with noodles or rice. I made it but I shredded the meat and served with with broccoli over rice. It was amazing! Usually whenever I see many people talk highly about an item the odds are 50/50; it'll either be really good or really bad -- this was amazing. Personally speaking I didn't find the Meyer Lemon taste overpowering (which is a good thing) and once the sauce cooled down a bit it seemed like the flavors were even more pronounced. I used 2 lbs of drums and 2 lbs of thighs, seasoned and cooked them according to the slow cooker instructions, served it with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and the meal went fast. I would definitely purchase this again. TIP: Remove the meat from the sauce then use a gravy separator to separate the fat; add some flour, cooking until thickened then pour over the meat.Date published: 2015-11-14
