Since 1830, Mauviel professional copper cookware has been used in the world's great kitchens – from fine restaurants to Parisian cooking schools. The newly engineered M250C is a fusion of 2.5mm heavy-gauge copper and stainless steel, so every piece benefits from the superior heat conductivity of copper while providing nonreactive 18/10 stainless-steel cooking surfaces. This handsome stock pot measures as high as it does wide to increase the absorption of flavors into the liquid when making stocks and soups.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Frequent shopper from Not as described I read the reviews very carefully before I bought this as well as the description. This pot is NOT stainless inside. It is tin lined! I bought this exact pot and was very deliberate to get the stainless steel one. He used it once and the tin lining started bubbling. So disappointed. Will have to return. Have not had an issue with something from Williams sonoma before.Date published: 2020-01-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Hortencia from Good quality I’m so happy with this beautiful Pot, another addition to my Mauviel colección.Date published: 2018-07-31Rated 5 out of 5 by Alexander2 from Beautiful as pictured, but not stainless lined. I received this Mauviel Stock Pot with the stainless handles that are plated to appear to be cast iron, and that is perfect. Plus this pot is also hammered. Where the description falls down is that the lining inside is of tin, not stainless steel, and it's not 2.5 mm thick copper, but probably closer to 2 mm.. To my knowledge, no one makes tall stockpots with a stainless lining. And this is one of the nicest examples of a tin lined tall stockpot. Just be aware that it is more of a traditional copper tin lined stockpot.Date published: 2017-06-04
The second reviewer states that this pot is only 2 mm copper with Tim lining. Could you please clarify this. The m250c series should be 2.5 mm copper with stainless steel lining as the description states. Wonder if he is confusing it with the other pot.Hi Jonathan, We believe the reviewer was referring to a different pot. This is 2.5mm thick with stainless steel lining.Date published: 2019-12-03
