Since 1830, Mauviel professional copper cookware has been used in the world's great kitchens – from fine restaurants to Parisian cooking schools. The newly engineered M250C is a fusion of 2.5mm heavy-gauge copper and stainless steel, so every piece benefits from the superior heat conductivity of copper while providing nonreactive 18/10 stainless-steel cooking surfaces. The fry pan's long riveted handle keeps hands well away from the heat and provides the extra leverage needed for turning and flipping foods.
- Professional 2.5mm-thick construction improves stability and durability.
- Slightly arched, electroplated cast stainless-steel handle stays cool and provides extra leverage.
- Compatible with gas, electric and halogen cooktops.
- Made in France.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LONETREERUNNER from Amazing frypan My first Mauviel fry pan and wish it was my first fry pan. Seeing is believing. This fry pan cooks much more evenly than my Calphalon and All-clad. It's not like I didn't like by other pans and yet the way Mauvel distributes its heat is amazing. Better heating at a lower temp setting. Cast iron handles work very well at not retaining heat. Pans with 2.5mm thickness produce the best results. The 2.5mm pan weighs heavier but the results outweigh the extra weight .Copperbrill is the best copper cleaner I have found and even cleans stains on the stainless steel interior! Mauviel copper cookware is a excellent investment, whether from a sugar pan to a daubiere/ braising pan the results are amazing.Date published: 2017-10-30Rated 5 out of 5 by cmcinc from Very Even Cooking This was my first Mauviel purchase and I couldn't believe how evenly everything cooked. Responsiveness is like no other. Clean up is very easy and the pan floor is bigger than most 10 inch fry pans. I love it.Date published: 2017-07-07Rated 5 out of 5 by EnjoyLife from Pleasantly Surprised Having two well loved pieces of commercial 3mm copper cookware made me nervous purchasing this pan. I immediately tested it using a range of foods including eggs, crepes, fish and jelly with spectacular results. The stainless interior enabled a stressless cooking experience over the more fragile tin and although tin is considered less sticky, I did not notice a difference. The only difference was a very slight increase in heat over what I use for the 3mm pans. The M250C 10" fry pan weighs a manageable 4.2 pounds.Date published: 2017-05-01
Will the bottom of this pan harm a ceramic top range?Hi Cookie7, This pan has a copper covered bottom. It is compatible with a ceramic cooktop. However, if it is overheated, it can leave a residue that will permanently stain the ceramic cooktop.Date published: 2019-02-18
What are the handles are made out of? Online I'm getting mixed answers of cast iron or cast stainless steel handle with iron electroplated finish. If it's the latter, can someone explain what that is?Hi Ramona, The handles are electroplated cast stainless steel. Electroplating is the process of coating a metal with a thin layer of another metal by electrolysis to improve the metal's corrosion resistance. It also helps keep the handles cool.Date published: 2019-02-18
