Since opening in 2013, Le Marais Bakery in San Francisco has wowed customers with authentic French croissants that transport them to Paris with every flaky, buttery bite. This special pastry selection includes seasonal flavors available only in limited quantities. The delicious sampling arrives frozen and ready to bake at home, whenever you'd like, and makes a wonderful spread for breakfast or brunch.

Seasonal Pastry Sampler includes:

  • Au Beurre Croissants (2): Classic French croissants handmade with buttery, 12-layer dough that bakes to a flaky golden finish with a silky-soft interior.
  • Chocolate Croissants (2): Rolled pains au chocolat filled with two batons of dark Valrhona chocolate from France .
  • Orange Almond Swirl (2): Snail-shaped croissants filled with house-made almond frangipane cream accented by orange-cardamom jam and candied orange peel.
  • Coconut Kouign-Amann Batons (2): Swirled coconut croissant sticks with fresh, nutty flavor filled with a rich vanilla buttercream.
  • Meyer Lemon Kouign-Amann (2): Caramelized croissant cups with a delightful filling that blends sweet vanilla butter cream with tangy Meyer lemon jam.
  • Raspberry Chocolate Croissants (2): Rolled pains au chocolat filled with batons of dark Valrhona chocolate from France and tart raspberry filling.
Use & Care

Receiving Instructions

  • Pastries ship frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated. This is normal. Please take care not to touch dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, remove pastries from shipping container and place in freezer, where they will keep for up to 90 days.

Preparation

  • Au Beurre Croissants: Place frozen croissants 3 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheet and let thaw at room temperature for 8 hours. Preheat oven to 375˚F. Make egg wash by stirring 1 egg with 1 tsp. water. Lightly brush egg wash over croissants. Bake until golden brown, about 17–20 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Chocolate Croissants: Place frozen croissants 3 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheet and let thaw at room temperature for 8 hours. Preheat oven to 375˚F. Make egg wash by stirring 1 egg with 1 tsp. water. Lightly brush egg wash over croissants. Bake until golden brown, 20–22 minutes. Let your croissants cool and serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Meyer Lemon Kouign-Amann: Place kouign amann in buttered cups of standard muffin pan and defrost in the refrigerator overnight. Gently push into cups before baking. Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix one egg with one teaspoon of water and lightly brush egg wash over pastries. Place muffin pan on a rimmed baking sheet in case of overflow. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool and serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Coconut Kouign-Amann Batons: Place frozen pastries 3 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheet and let thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 375˚F. Make egg wash by stirring 1 egg with 1 tsp. water. Lightly brush egg wash over pastries. Bake until golden brown, 15–20 minutes (please note that some of the butter and sugar may caramelize on the baking sheet). Let cool and serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Orange Almond Swirl: Place frozen pastries 3 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheet and let thaw for 8 hours. Preheat oven to 375˚F. Make egg wash by stirring 1 egg with 1 tsp. water. Lightly brush egg wash over pastries. Bake until golden brown, 15–18 minutes. Let cool and serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Raspberry Chocolate Croissant: Place frozen pastries 3 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheet and let thaw for 8 hours. Preheat oven to 375˚F. Make egg wash by stirring 1 egg with 1 tsp. water. Lightly brush egg wash over pastries. Bake until golden brown, 20–22 minutes.

Please allow 2-7 business days for processing and delivery. This gives our artisan partners time to prepare your order with exceptional care and attention to detail. A more accurate delivery date will be quoted on the payment page. Perishable food items are not eligible for rush shipping. Please not that we do not ship perishable food items outside the contiguous 48 states or to P.O. Boxes.

Next Day Delivery

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.

Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

Made to Order and Final Sale Furniture items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.
