Since opening in San Francisco in 2013, Le Marais has wowed customers with authentic French croissants that transport them to Paris with every flaky, buttery bite. Elevating breakfasts and mid-afternoon snacks, the bakery's unique croissant buns are now yours to enjoy at home. Handmade with two types of butter – French Isigny and Vermont Plugrá – the 12-layer dough bakes to a flaky, golden crust with a silky-soft interior. Pair the buns with avocado like they do at the bakery for an exceptionally delicious treat.

Can you freeze croissants? Thank you!Hi Shorty, The buns ship frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated. This is normal. Please take care not to touch dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, place buns in the freezer where they will keep unopened for up to 90 days. You can wrap baked-off croissants tightly with aluminum foil or plastic freezer wrap, or place in heavy-duty freezer bag. They should not be kept frozen for more than a month; after that they loose moisture and fall apart when reheated. Frozen croissants should not be thawed before being reheated; they should be placed, unwrapped, directly on the oven rack or on a sheet of foil in an oven preheated to 350 degrees and should be ready in 5 to 10 minutes, depending on size and true temperature of your oven.Date published: 2019-11-03
