Two of our favorite California-made treats inspired this breakfast set. We paired classic French croissants from San Francisco's Le Marais Bakery with a Fair-Trade coffee blend from Santa Cruz-based Verve Coffee Roasters. The croissants arrive frozen for baking, so you can savor them warm from the oven. This set is a convenient time-saver for brunches and a thoughtful gift for anyone.
Le Marais Au Beurre Croissants: These authentic French croissants are handmade with buttery, 12-layer dough that bakes to a flaky, golden crust with a silky-soft interior. Bakers use two types of butter – French Isigny and Vermont Plugrá – to strike the perfect balance between cultured and sweet.
Le Marais French Roast Coffee: This dark-roasted blend prepared by Verve Coffee Roasters creates a smooth, full-bodied cup with flavors of creamy dark chocolate and sweet molasses. Beans are roasted in small batches by hand on vintage German-made roasters.

- Use & Care
- Croissants ship frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated. This is normal. Please take care not to touch dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, remove pastries from shipping container and place in freezer, where they will keep for up to 90 days.
- Store coffee beans at room temperature, where they will keep for up to 30 days.
- Croissants: Place frozen croissants on parchment-lined baking sheet and let thaw for 8 hours. Preheat oven to 375°F. Make egg wash by stirring 1 egg with 1 tsp. water. Lightly brush egg wash over croissants. Bake until golden brown, approx. 17–20 minutes.
- Coffee: Grind whole beans just before brewing. We recommend brewing with filtered water at 200°F.
- Croissants: All-purpose flour, butter, starter, high-gluten flour, milk, sugar, salt, yeast (osmo), malt.
- Coffee: Coffee beans from Cauca, Colombia. Castillo and Caturra are 100% washed Arabica.

Next Day Delivery
For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.
Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.
At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.
If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

These were very easy to make and were delicious! I will say I started by baking just two the first time to see how it would go before I made the whole batch. Two things- the first time I underproofed them (it was summer in SF, so way too cold in my house) and also, I discovered that my oven was not getting hot enough (an oven thermometer showed my oven was off by 35 degrees!!). I ended up cooking the croissants a little longer the first time (aiming for that golden brown color) and the second time I just increased my oven temp. Baking is hard (anybody watched the great british bakeoff lately?) These croissants take three days of work off your plate and made me feel like a 5 star baker! My kids ADORE these croissants. They are half French, so after eating croissants in France, they are pretty picky. They are my favorites too, flaky, buttery, and perfect with tea or coffee.
