    Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Boss For More Than Sauce Perfect for everything from boiling eggs to reheating left-over cassoulet, the pan is versatile enough to stay at the ready on the stove top or go from the fridge or freezer directly to the oven. It is more than a sauce pan; it really is a nice little dutch oven! With a helper handle that really is helpful, this pan is easy to handle out of the oven and take to the table, too. I have used this cheerful red cooking tool nearly every day for about three years. It always performs well. Coveted by foodie friends, I have also given this practical luxury item as a gift.

I gifted it to myself because I wanted a perfect, perky little pot for my new induction range. I'm very pleased with it!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous little pot! Perfect size for sauces, gravies, rice and other sides. I especially like that food stays warm while you're finishing cooking the rest of the meal. The capacity measurement does not appear correct on the WS website. It is actually 1 3/4 qt as stated on the Le Creuset box it came in, not 1 1/2. So even better!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can you love a saucepan too much? I bought this in Ocean right after Christmas after visiting it frequently in store and online. It is all that I expected. Steady, even heating. Non-reactive. Easy to clean. So far I've used it for gravy, raspberry sauce, hot chocolate, blueberry compote and reheating homemade soups and stews. I guard this pot. It's off-limits to the men in my house who can't be trusted to keep sharp objects and scratchy cleaners away from its pristine surfaces.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-notch sauce pan I use both Staub and Le Creuset. Both are superb and both have distinct advantages. I bought this small Le Creuset sauce pan primarily for cooking perfect al dente oatmeal (!) and for reheating other foods. It would be equally ideal for making light sauces and gravies. Weight is both a postive and a negative, but the weight of cast iron is why it cooks so well.
