Rated 1 out of 5 by diamondinthekitchen from Should've Listened to the Reviews! I read the reviews and a majority said don't buy this it'll bust and leak blue liquid. Well, I listened to the small number of people who probably reviewed the item before it busted on them and went ahead and bought the attachment. It made two batches of great ice cream. I took care to follow the manual and clean it accordingly. But the second batch of ice cream was the limit and like all the other reviews. It burst and is now leaking blue liquid. I know ice cream making tools can be finicky to begin with, but I expect more than two uses, especially for one this expensive. Save your money and look into another ice cream making solution. This one isn't worth your time or money.Date published: 2019-09-24Rated 4 out of 5 by #1 Victory from Bit of a learning curve This is my third Kitchenaid ice cream maker, as the previous two have leaked the dreaded blue liquid. Kitchenaid’s warranty is wonderful though, so I have stuck with the brand. I’m still perfecting the art of ice cream, but overall this makes a product more delicious than I can buy. I look forward to every summer, and being able to experiment with new flavors. I asked if they would replace it but since it was over a year old no dice. I cannot recommend itDate published: 2019-09-11Rated 4 out of 5 by jb_sf from Pretty good I bought on Sale and got a pretty good deal if you compare to regular ice cream makers. After a use, I would recommend to buy for intermittent use as the cycle to freeze, use, let is get to room temp, clean, get it to room temp, refreeze is a bit time consuming. Another cons is that you have to poor the mix while the machine is operating (per instructions) and it is not that easy because of the arm getting in the way. Aka: you will make a mess. Overall decent and would buy again as I don't intend to make often and / or a lot of frozen dessert. Not impressed this (not cheap) accessory for my Kitchen Aid mixer is no good, won't use it again due to worrying about the blue liquid leaking everywhere.Date published: 2019-09-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Char51 from I love my Kitchen Aide I can't believe how often I use it! I make pita bread in just a few minutes, cookies just as fast, even pizza dough. Can't wait for cold weather when I can comfortably turn on the oven for some serious baking!Date published: 2019-09-03Rated 5 out of 5 by SAZ#30 from A Kitchenaid must have I have had my Kitchenaid Ice Cream Maker for five years. I just bought another one so I can do different flavors. I keep them in the freezer so they are always ready.Date published: 2019-09-01Rated 1 out of 5 by Biglazyuglyfatdude from High Profit Item Nothing beats a great bowl of home made ice cream, right? It’s a great idea. But, mixing the ingredients, chilling them for hours. Keeping the bowl in freezer for 24 hours, when you expect it to be ready to dive into, wrong! Back into the freezer. The last time I tried to use it the bowl busted open in the freezer. Good luck!Date published: 2019-09-01
