- Goat Cheese Toast with Honey Recipe
Preheat an oven or toaster oven to 375°F.
Arrange the toasts on a small rimmed baking sheet. Spread the toast slices evenly with the goat cheese and sprinkle with the walnuts, dividing them evenly. Drizzle 1/4 tsp. of the walnut oil over each toast. Bake until the walnuts are toasted and the cheese is warm, about 5 minutes.
Transfer the toasts to plates and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle each toast with honey, then sprinkle with the thyme leaves and serve immediately. Serves 2 to 4.

Rated 3 out of 5 by yeararoundgriller from looks great I love the looks of this unit, very clean. Looks very much like the rest of the KitchenAid product line, with the heavy round handle. It has great interior room, for cooking oversize dinners. The controls are functional at best. It seems like that a higher end quality product like this would have better feeling knobs and switches. Of note is the on/off switch it feels and sounds like the heating controls from a 1962 Rambler. Very disappointing.Date published: 2016-10-28Rated 5 out of 5 by designerjohn from Great counter oven I had the older model of an oven by KitchenAid for several years which I loved and it recently died (as they all do after a while). I read several reviews of this model and was impressed enough to do the upgrade. WOW...that's all I can say. This oven works like a charm and toasts much better than other toaster ovens that I have had. That is unusual. The roasting function works lie a charm and love the Asado feature. Also like that it will alert you when the oven is preheated to the right temp and then will start the timer after you put the food inside. Cooks very evenly. I love not having to use my large oven when I'm only cooking for 2 people!!Date published: 2015-08-08Rated 5 out of 5 by CAGinFL from Couldn't be more pleased with this oven! Downsized a year ago and lost our double oven, argh, so the hunt for a good countertop began. I had no idea it would be so difficult - everything seemed to have some major design flaw, but luckily I found this bad boy. It roasts to perfection (better than any oven I've had), bakes beautifully, and the toasting function only took 20 secs longer than my 4 slice toaster. What I looked for: Crumb tray that is removable from the front; easy to clean interior that doesn't emit fumes that will kill everyone in my household, heat that doesn't melt my counter or the cabinets above, & front glass that doesn't explode into millions of deadly shards. Due to the lack of longevity of the Breville units, based on their reviews, I opted for the KitchenAid. Saving the best for last, the Asado Roast function is killer - my pork roast, which I usually sear before roasting but didn't for this test, was crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. I never even knew this was possible. So much love!Date published: 2015-02-09
