Rated 5 out of 5 by Nanaterri from Love my kitchen Bought this to go with my freshly painted cabinets and new countertops. It works well of course being kitchenaid. The fact it is the 100th year anniversary model just makes it all very special to me. I never wanted a Kitchenaid. Never thought I needed one. But alas, I got married and my in-laws gave us one as a gift. Reluctantly I put this unnecessarily large and heavy mixing apparatus on my beautiful countertops. In plain site. For the world to see that I too... am a basic white girl *cringe*. Skip forward a few months...... I was making apple crisp from the bountiful apples I had received from a family friends farm. My husband begged me to “test-drive” my shiny new kitchen device. He said ”if you hate it maybe we can sell it or something”. Fiiiiiine..........So I finally gave in to the heavy blue mixing mass, or as I like to say, my shrine to the Better homes and Gardens Gods...... Let. Me. Tell. You *clap clap clap* !! This thing. This spinning hunk of metal, worked so beautifully! It was like a kitchen mating ritual, with each step of the dance another Spice was added to the ingredients being slapped around in it’s bowl. I was able to buzz around the kitchen while mixing the oatmeal crumb top to my apple pie. I added ingredients while measuring new ingredients while thinking of more ingredients to add to my mixture. I even began looking up the expensive gizmos and gadgets that can be attached to my Kitchenaid. Zoodles?? YES!! Apple peeler? YES!! Sausage maker? I’m not so sure but heckwhynot. Basically, congratulations Kitchenaid, you’ve turned me into a newlywed basic white woman. Will be looking forward to your attachment deals on Black Friday. THANKS!
