Rated 3 out of 5 by Jessi Lynn from Beautiful, but with issues This mixer is absolutely gorgeous and I loved it, but I have just returned my third one and am not ordering a fourth replacement. The first two had dark spots across the top, some kind of paint flaw. The third had only one small dark spot which I decided I could live with, but then I noticed that the bezel piece around the spinning element was warped in several places. I have owned two other KitchenAid mixers with no issues whatsoever, so I do not understand why the quality control has gone down so badly, especially on such a special limited edition piece which would otherwise be a work of art. I am so disappointed.Date published: 2018-11-27Rated 3 out of 5 by Jessica from Beautiful, but with issues This mixer is absolutely gorgeous and I loved it, but I have just returned my third one and am not ordering a fourth replacement. I can't seem to get a hold of anyone on the phone or chat to get a replacement bowl to swap out.Date published: 2018-11-12Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnetteW from Absolutely beautiful! I recently purchased the beautiful heritage edition KitchenAid mixer with the ceramic hobnail bowl and am living everything about it. This is my first stand mixer and so far it has been a joy to use making various cakes. I still have other recipes I want to try now that I finally have a stand mixer - so next I want to use the dough hook for some bread and then the whip for a special sponge cake. Can’t wait! And it is so beautiful on the countertop that I don’t have to hide it anywhere. Am ready for a stove to match!Date published: 2018-10-28Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsViRod from Ceramic Bowl I would really love to buy the bowl separate! It is a SEXY bowl and I think sales would be amazing if you sold it separate! Any chance on limited time only specialty bowls sold separately! We are all about design in our kitchens!Date published: 2018-10-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Sastingle45 from ..it’s a KitchenAid! The color is heavenly - so soft and I'm so glad it's matte not glossy! The bowl is gorgeous! I'm concerned it's fragile ... but I am handling with care! The dough perform beautifully in the bowl. Happy Birthday to me!Date published: 2018-09-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Annette49 from I got #003 one of 2 made!!!!!!!! I am over the moon excited!!! Does the beater make a mark inside the ceramic bowl? I’ve had that happen with my hand mixer in ceramic bowls. Thanks HI Sewcat, The mixer includes a “flex edge beater” so only the silicone “wiper” will make contact with the bowl. The other tools (dough hook & whisk) are calibrated to come very close but not make contact with the bowl. We have not tried using any other tools in the mixing bowl but would expect the ceramic material to wear similarly to other ceramic mixing bowls.Date published: 2018-11-20
Can you use other 5qt bowls with this, or just hobnob bowl? Thanks!Hi MamaWoon, Any 5qt. bowl designed for a 5qt. tilt-head KitchenAid Stand Mixer will work with this mixer.Date published: 2018-11-16
Is the bowl sold separately? Thank you!Hi mbed - No, we do not sell the ceramic hobnail bowl separately. Thanks!Date published: 2018-10-29
I can't tell what the true color of the mixer is. Some photos show a very delicate dusty gray blue. Others display a stronger blue almost a baby blue. Which one is it?
