Rated 5 out of 5 by Dawn from LOVE THIS ITEM I purchased this last year. Love it. Easy to use and well made. However you can not wash in soap and water. Use as brush to clean and wipe it off. This is slot easier to use than a hand machine. Just follow directions in booklet. My pasta was delicious.Date published: 2017-10-27Rated 1 out of 5 by foodieLR from NOT MADE TO LAST My pasta roller and cutter set is 6 years old. I've only used the roller 4 times, and then stored in my kitchen cabinet because my original mixer died. I bought a new kitchen aid mixer, took out the pasta roller, and the roller plastic casing on the inside is cracked, running up and down the roller- making it unsanitary to use. After researching this on the internet, I learned this was not a unique problem but a problem to everyone having had these for a few years. Customer service suggests I BUY A NEW ONE. After all- these are 6 years old. Sure- they're made in Italy. So are the old fashioned pasta machines that you crank and they will last forever. Kitchen Aid looks pretty, but honestly, after a mixer that died after not much use, a blender that stopped working, and now the pasta attachments that are cracking? Save your money, and don't invest in KitchenAid anything. Research them on the internet and you'll read over and over again how customer service is just awful. After they have your money, and the warranty expires, all they suggest is for you to buy a new appliance from them. oh,, and get this- they'll give you a 20% discount. NO THANK-YOU. A discount so that I can purchase all over again in 6 years?Date published: 2017-04-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Melrose from Cuts oodles of time off making noodles My husband has been hand-rolling & cutting pasta dough for years. I purchased this for Christmas in 2016. We use it on the 8 qt. Commercial stand mixer. This not only rolls with speed & ease, it cuts beautifully & is very easy to clean. They store perfectly in the box they were originally packaged in.Date published: 2017-01-10Rated 5 out of 5 by JadeK from Fresh pasta without a big labor. Very easy to use and clean up. Made so easy to make fresh pasta.Date published: 2016-07-25Rated 5 out of 5 by devotedamateurcook from Indespensible Pasta Roller Set I'm stunned there are no reviews of this add-on to KitchenAid mixer. My wife and I, empty nesters, make pasta at least once a week and roll it out using this attachment to our KitchenAid. I use half-cup of all-purpose flour, half-cup of semolina, one egg, maybe tsp of olive oil, very tiny bit of water. Blend in Cuisinart. We make lasagna, spaghetti, fettucini, canneloni, all ultra-fresh, tastes fabulous. And, hey, I'm Irish! Pasta roller set is expensive, but built like a masonry privy. Unqualified recommendation.Date published: 2016-05-19
