Rated 4 out of 5 by Marya01 from Used in my Phillips soup maker instead I don't have an Insta Pot, so I tried this in my soup maker that I bought for Christmas. It is smaller, so I used half a package of this soup starter and half a rotisserie chicken breast. It came out quite well, though I like the jar of the tortilla soup maker that Wm Sonoma used to sell better. I toasted tortilla strips in the oven with oil and they were good on top of it.Date published: 2019-01-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Gabi from Makes lentils a new favorite This soup mix was gifted to me by a good friend. She sent me two flavors and both have been awesome and more importantly day-savers. I’ve had sick members of my family and no motivation to make a gorgeous soup and these mixes literally saved us.Date published: 2018-12-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Ms214Diva from Am here reordering this Soup Starter now! I made this today for the first time. I will say that the directions were very easy to follow...I, however, didn't follow them exactly. The recipe calls for low sodium broth. I didn't get that kind and I will not make that mistake again! The dish came out to be quite salty for my taste. I don't cook with much salt in the first place, so this was a bit much for me. I had to add a cup of water to the recipe to take the salt level down. I added a pouch of cooked chicken to the recipe and it came out marvelously. Like I said, I'm reordering this as I'm typing this review!Date published: 2018-10-30Rated 5 out of 5 by OnaR from Wonderfully Surprised I purchased this in August. I don't usually use starter's but thought I would put it away for winter. Today (not winter yet), I was cleaning the pantry and tried it. What a wonderful surprise. I had only fire roasted tomatoes so that is my only variance with the recipe. Do try this, you will be happy.Date published: 2018-09-28Rated 5 out of 5 by SandySage from Easy and yummy! Bought an Instant Pot and this was first meal we prepared in it...was very easy, yummy and nutritious!Date published: 2018-08-26
I have the 3 quart instant pot plus mini. Is there anyway I could just half the soup recipe & cook it twice? Would I pressure cook it for 9 minutes?
