Rated 1 out of 5 by Doug from Burn notice - advertised instructions NON existent As others have stated, moments into this and the pot says burn notice. The jar says there are instructions for instant pot MAX users, at williams-sonoma/instantpot, but there is nothing there about alternate directions for products using instant pot max. this is a waste of money, and sad because it seems to have wasted the 3 pounds of meat I added to it. No success with the instant pot max, and a real disappointment.Date published: 2019-04-22Rated 1 out of 5 by Mymolly2515 from Instant pot burn notice I got this as a Christmas present. I thought I would make it for the super bowl. When I added the sauce to the instant pot I thought it would set off the burn notice so I added one cup of beef stock to the instant pot. Within a few minutes I got the burn notice. I tried to save as much of the chili as I could but had to waste at least half of it. I found the taste to be very mild and not spicy so I doctored it up. I love my instant pot and am truest dissappointed that this chili mix was such a failureDate published: 2019-02-04Rated 2 out of 5 by TDBR from Burn notice twice I received as a gift and followed instructions on the jar. Got the “burn” notice on IP when bringing to pressure. Released the pressure and put ingredients into my non stick IP pot hoping that would work since the searing was not done in this one. Got the burn notice again. Released the pressure again and changed pressure to low. Finally worked the third time after fussing with it for 1.5 hours. Not so instant! Taste was good once it was cooked but way too much time spent and burned pots.Date published: 2019-01-21Rated 1 out of 5 by PamB from IP Burn Notice I was concerned that the tomato chili sauce would be too thick and I’d end up a burn message on the Instant Pot. I was correct. After several attempts all ending with a burn message, I finally emptied the pot into my slow cooker. Hopefully it will taste okay when finished .... now for tomorrow’s night dinner.Date published: 2019-01-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Doris from Delicious and easy I bought this and was a little concerned because it has beer it in. I did not realize that when I bought it. I do not drink or like beer but I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! It was very easy and my family loved it! It is just the starter sauce and meat and we like more to our chili, so I also added 2 cans of beans, rinsed and drained, after the chili was finished and cooked (kept warm) for 5-10 minutes. Very good! We added crusty bread, a nice red wine and had a nice relaxing dinner on a 40 degree windy, Wisconsin day. Life is good. Thank you WS for yet another great product!Date published: 2018-11-11
. . . where are the instructions at the URL the jar says are for instant pot MAX users? there is a URL, but no instuctions at that page, or any where else. The Burn notice is pretty disapointing.Hi Doug, You can find Instant Pot Max recipes here: https://www.williams-sonoma.com/pages/recipe/instant-pot-max-recipes/Date published: 2019-05-10
