Every detail of this wok is faithful to its traditional Chinese origins, from the carbon steel construction to the hand-hammered design. Its fast-heating cooking surface is great for stir-frying, deep frying, steaming and more. Each wok is hammered by hand – no two are alike.

- Ideal for use on gas and electric cooktops.
- Wok will become very hot when cooking. Please use caution.
- Hand-wash with hot water. Stuck on food particles can be removed with a soft sponge or cloth.
- Dry over a hot burner set on high heat allowing the traces of grease from cooking to burn into the surface.
- Oil regularly to maintain seasoning.
- Season the pan before first use: heat wok and apply a thin film of oil over the entire surface using a paper towel or basting brush. Heat for 10 minutes and wipe off the oil with a paper towel. Repeat this process until there is no black residue on the paper towel – about three times.

That being said take the time to properly season the wok before your first, you won't regret it. Instructions included with this wok will guide you through the process, I used my propane grill to season the wok preventing any unneeded smoke and aromas in the home. Second thing always let the wok heat up properly before adding any ingredients in to help prevent too much heat being lost, treat it like you were cooking on an cast iron pan. Even cast iron can get hot for an initial blast of heat when ingredients are added, but even that heat will lessen unless you have a major burner. I operate on an outdoor 200k BTU burner. I don't even use the ring over-flame, only as a potholder when off-flame. Can I use this wok on a glass stove Hi Mrs Toni Jones, This particular wok with a ring will not work on a glass stove (induction top) as the bottom of the wok needs to touch the stove's surface.
