Every detail of this wok is faithful to its traditional Chinese origins, from its carbon steel construction to its hand-hammered design. Its fast-heating cooking surface is great for stir frying, deep frying, steaming and more. Each wok is hammered by hand—no two are exactly alike.
- Traditional carbon steel construction disperses heat evenly and quickly.
- Gradually sloping sides ensure food stays directly over heat source and facilitates tossing.
- Dual handles provide a firm grip.
- The flat bottom wok is designed to sit flush against the surface making it perfect for all types of cooktops including induction.
- Dimensions & More Info
- 14” diam., 5 1/2" high.
- 5-qt. cap.
- Made in China.
- Use & Care
- Ideal for use on any type of cooktop, including induction.
- Wok will become very hot when cooking. Please use caution.
- Hand-wash with hot water. Stuck on food particles can be removed with a soft sponge or cloth.
- Dry over a hot burner set on high heat allowing the traces of grease from cooking to burn into the surface.
- Oil regularly to maintain seasoning.
- Season the pan before first use: heat wok and apply a thin film of oil over the entire surface using a paper towel or basting brush. Heat for 10 minutes and wipe off the oil with a paper towel. Repeat this process until there is no black residue on the paper towel - about three times.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Maryfromcolorado from Handles get hot I am used to a work with a long wooden handle. This pan is hard to move around while cooking as the handles get very hot. The flat surface is so small the pan wobbles and we used to do deep fried in our other work but this one can only heat up an inch and half deprh of oil. For the price it will suffice, but soon it will go into our camping pan collection.Date published: 2017-08-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovetocook70 from Works for me After receiving an Asian cookbook for xmas I was ready to buy the tools needed to make some serious dishes. The author recommended a basic wok and stressed that it should not be non-stick. This wok is the perfect addition to my kitchen tools. Easy to manage. I seasoned it and have used it several times already. Honestly, I don't think I'll have to buy another wok in my lifetime since I am just a home cook. If I do, I will purchase this one again.Date published: 2016-01-31Rated 3 out of 5 by Eva7 from Does not work on induction cooktop This is advertised as working on an induction cooktop, and yes, a magnet sticks, but the design does not work because only a small ring at the base touches the cooktop. After leaving it on medium heat for 10 minutes to cure it, most of the wok was only slightly warm. It's a nice product, but not for induction.Date published: 2016-01-04Rated 1 out of 5 by fibi from Not suitable for my needs After seasoning it, I used it for a veggie stir fry on my gas stove. Though the result was delicious, the wok is just not suitable for my stove. First, it doesn't hold steady on the stove top, and even the slightest stir of a spoon sends it wobbling and moving around. I had to hold it using a thermal glove in one hand, and stirring with the other. For me it was extremely uncomfortable. Second, mine had a small indentation in the middle of the wok making the flat surface not 100% flat. I assume this was just a bad item and not a general flaw. WS customer service gets 5 start from me - as always - and refunded the item in less than a minute. Since then I bought a "non-authentic" hard anodized wok that for me performs well.Date published: 2015-08-17Rated 5 out of 5 by SCprof from Terrific bargain and performance I have only used my new wok once and on an electric stove. It did a terrific job on my stir fry dish and without sticking, and I look forward to using it again soon. I bought an inexpensive WS lid to use for steaming, a good item to have with the wok. I am very pleased with this product; for the money you can't do better.Date published: 2015-01-19Rated 5 out of 5 by MamaRae from Awesome Wok I have never owned a wok before and read a lot of reviews before I ordered this one. It is perfect! My husband loves it and if I suggest we should cook it in the wok, suddenly he is cooking! We have an electric stove and to be honest, we haven't used it on the electric stove yet. I bought a nice two burner portable propane stove years ago for camping that we also use as a second stove outside. I asked my husband to season the new wok on it and now it is setup full time and that is what he uses to cook on.Date published: 2014-11-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Siobahn from The Wok Works First I read other reviews and I'm glad I did. I have an electric stove and this wok is perfect for it. I followed all the directions for getting the wok ready for use as suggested by other reviewers. My first meal and subsequent ones turned out as desired. I wouldn't hesitate to give this as a gift. Follow all the directions for first use, cooking, cleaning, storing and you're going to like this wok.Date published: 2014-07-28Rated 5 out of 5 by KayLeo from Great wok for a great price! This wok is great. It is a more traditional wok and works very well for stir fry. I love that it has double handles so I can really toss food around. The fact that it is quite light (compared to woks from name brands) helps with this as well. Speaking of other brands... This wok is a fraction of the price of name brand woks and cooks infinitely better! The only thing to keep in mind before buying this wok is that this is pretty high maintenance. It needs to be seasoned, oiled when not in use, and stored away properly. Totally worth the extra time, though!Date published: 2014-05-18
