Rated 2 out of 5 by jehntosh from Disappointed I bought this cruet a few weeks ago to go with my copper collection. When trying to pour oil with lid on the oil flow is extremely slow. Took the cover off the flow is good. I then tried to close the container olive oil squirted out all over my dining table, it was a mess. There is obviously a design flaw.Date published: 2017-03-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Mariolka from very pretty I use this oil cruet almost every day, it's look very pretty on my kitchen counter and also is very functional. the spout is long and oil is pouring slowly so is not over flooding on food.Date published: 2016-09-01Rated 2 out of 5 by sasharoo from Disappointing dribbler or projectile oiler? I love the look of this oil cruet. If you only want it for decorative use then it would be a five star. I gave this one extra star for looks. Performance? Unless you remove the lid, oil comes out in a disappointing dribble. If you remove the lid it does flow, but watch out! When you go to replace the lid, the oil squirts out with a launch capacity of up to 2 feet! It really need to have a hole drilled into the lid to allow for air to enter. This would make the oil flow without removing the lid and stop it from squirting out if you are putting the lid on. I am beyond my 30 days because I was trying to order a different oil cruet from another website, but, the seller went on vacation and I haven't received it to fill with the oil in this can. Solution? Having the hubby drill that hole!Date published: 2016-08-18
