Rated 5 out of 5 by CorinneJoy from Amazing Mediterranean!! I can’t believe I can get Haig’s delivered to me here in Florida! We lived in SF for over 25yrs and even lived near the old Haig’s store on Clement. Best Dolma’s, amazing Spanakopita, Tzatziki and everything in this package. I only wish I could get this year round any and every time I want!! YUM!!Date published: 2018-12-22Rated 5 out of 5 by schuhshine from Excellent Mediterranean Assortment I tried the Mediterranean Meze Platter for the first time and was impressed with this authentic, fresh-tasting, delicious assortment. All the dips/sauces (hummus, Baba Ghanoush, tzatziki & tahini) were outstanding; I've made my own and couldn't do better. The falafel was very nice, gently warmed in the oven. There was plenty of lavash (pita-type bread), generously sized. I'm not a great fan of dolmas (I think grape leaves must be an acquired taste), but the rice filing was tasty. The baklava was most delicious. This is not an inexpensive selection, but most of the items are labor-intensive, so I get it. Highly recommended for those who want to dip their taste buds into a lovely variety of authentic Mediterranean goodies.Date published: 2017-08-18Rated 4 out of 5 by Foodie72 from Nice Assortment This was a favorite with my family. Easy and fast to prepare and everyone loved the taste. Would definitely purchase again.Date published: 2017-01-04Rated 5 out of 5 by SVDJ from Delicious Mediterranean Meze Platter We served these items along with a selection of olives, sliced cucumbers, marinated red peppers and feta in a large platter arrangement. The only items we had to "prepare" were the spanakopita (they baked quickly) and falafel (lightly reheated them in a toaster oven). The hummus, baba ghanoush and tzatziki sauce were all restaurant quality. The spanakopita were delicious. The falafel could have been larger, they were what I would call cocktail sized. But very tasty and authentic. The dolmas (grape leaf wrapped rice) were larger than most we have found locally. A nice selection even though the price was a little up there. The quality was definitive. And last but not least, the baklava were heavenly.Date published: 2015-12-19
