Based on a vintage American recipe, our gingerbread mix is an easy-to-bake holiday classic. Among its all-natural ingredients are the world’s finest spices: aromatic Saigon cinnamon, nutmeg from Indonesia and spicy Madagascar cloves. Bits of crystallized ginger add a pungent sweetness to each bite. Enjoy the bread just out of the oven for a wonderful wintertime dessert.

- Gingerbread Spice Quick Bread Mix: Unbleached and unbromated enriched flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), brown sugar, molasses, crystallized ginger, sodium bicarbonate, cinnamon, salt, cloves, nutmeg.

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

I tried making gingerbread from scratch and it was always too molasses-y, that's why I just go with this mix. I have tried 3-4 gingerbread recipes, none of which I like as much as this mix. Not sure why they use the word 'spice' in the title ... tastes more or less like a standard gingerbread to me. One hint: When you are mixing the ingredients, don't over mix in an attempt to smooth all the lumps. Please recommend adjustments to added ingredients/baking time to use this mix to make a three layer cake. Thank youHi Joni, We have not tested this method but suggest to make the batter as directed and divide evenly between three 6-inch or 8-inch greased cake pans and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Not sure on timing, but guessing around 15 minutes. Please note that this is a quick bread mix and not a cake so the texture will be more bread-like.Date published: 2018-12-17
Can you use this mix to make a bundt cake?Hi Jennie, Yes, you can use this quick bread mix to make a bundt cake but it will be a short bundt and you will have to watch bake time as it will not be consistent with that on the packaging due to pan size/shape change.
