Rated 5 out of 5 by Lexxx from Fantastic! My husband and I purchased our 10-quart pressure cooker almost two years ago, and use it about once a week. I can’t imagine not having it—we mostly use it to cook a large batch of black beans for easy weekday meals, but occasionally make beef bourguignon (in less than an hour!) with great results. It took us a while to get the hang of using it with consistent results, as we had never cooked with one prior to purchasing. We occasionally wash it with baking soda and dish soap to remove the stains and residue left behind by the black beans, and that cleans it up beautifully.Date published: 2018-01-01Rated 1 out of 5 by MarthaLovesCooking from Save your money and buy a quality Fissler! First, the pressure indicator is very short, and very thin. I can NOT see it from across my kitchen. I must stand next to the pot and I must babysit my pot until I know it will maintain pressure. But even then I dare not walk away because I won't be able to see if it falls. (I don't have to do this with my Fissler). For this reason alone I would have returned it. Second, it looses a lot of water through steam escaping! I did a water seal test and after 10 minutes it lost 1/2 a cup water! Third, a ring of brown Scorch marks on the inside of the pot 3 inches up the side of the inside of the pot, from performing the the manufacturer's seal water test. I did the test a second time, and the results were a second ring of brown spots an inch above the last ring!Date published: 2016-11-01Rated 4 out of 5 by MisSailor from Fagor Pressure Cooker I'm a chef on a private yacht. Time is important to me. I purchased a pressure cooker so I could speed up the process of making soups, beans. In addition, I have a vegetarian crew member on board. What I love about this pressure cooker is it's ease of use. I have an induction cook top, am in a work environment that requires me to cook underway in seas. The Fagor not only saves time but creates a safer work place.Date published: 2015-10-05
