Espro has perfected French press coffee with its unique two-filter system that yields a richly flavored, grit-free cup every time. This glass coffee press stands as a design statement on the kitchen counter, pairing super-durable German borosilicate glass with a mirrored stainless-steel frame.
- Patented system uses two filters, the first 9-times finer and the second 12-times finer than a French press, for grit-free, flavorful coffee.
- Patented press system stops extraction the moment you press the plunger down, microfiltering the coffee twice.
- Pour-over coffee lovers enjoy ultra-clean, oil-free coffee simply by adding our optional paper filters between the micro filters (25 paper filters included).
- To increase durability and keep coffee hot longer, German-made Schott borosilicate glass is 40% thicker than glass on standard French presses.
- Patent-pending Safety Lock™ completely secures the glass inside the steel cage so it won't slip out when you're pouring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Schiffer from Impressed! I have been using the 18oz version of the Espro P5 Glass French Press for a short time, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but it certainly feels like a sturdy, made to last product. The glass feels incredibly durable, and comes with a notch on the side that acts as a sort of locking mechanism when you slide it back into the carrier, and twist so the spout is facing front. Because of the glass thickness, it keeps the coffee warmer for a little longer than other glass carafes as well. The double filter system is thoughtful; taking into consideration the sediment that comes with French Press coffee. It comes with an even further filtration step by offering a small pack of filters you can use between the double filters that are built in already. It's easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to use, and delivers strong cups of coffee. Additionally, I had no issue with the removal of the sticker on the glass.Date published: 2019-04-05Rated 5 out of 5 by ROCKY from Works PERFECT Coffee tastes amazing I have had this for about a year now, purchased along with Breville Electric Kettle. I cannot say enough the functionality of it is amazing, coffee is amazing, and it is so different from a regular french press. I love the double basket!! Not sure about the sticker one reviewer talked about- I peeled it back gently with ZERO issues!! Great product there should not be a bad review!!Date published: 2019-01-02Rated 1 out of 5 by Jeff from Highly Frustrated First off, I want to say that I never take the time to post a negative review. In this case, I felt inspired to do so. Yesterday, I spent the day in the William Sonoma store in Hingham with Kathleen who was absolutely fabulous. Ordered in excess of $4500 in items for a new home I purchased in Maine. Kathleen was great and I had a very favorable experience. Now for the reason for this review. I recently ordered the the Espro P5 Glass French Press on line. Upon opening the box I noticed a label that was wrapped around the entire glass container. The label had to be peeled off in hundreds of little pieces. Really? I pay over $100 for french press and have to spend a couple of hours peeling a label off the glass. The actual french press is great, but come on with the impossible to remove labeling.Date published: 2018-07-11Rated 4 out of 5 by mskandy from I love this French Press!!! I bought the medium french press and it arrived on 5/19/18. I used it for the first time on 5/20/18 and loved it. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: The double filter works great for this french press, the coffee does not have that dirty residue like what you get from the other french press. The liquid is very clear and coffee tasted great. Easy cleaning. Makes roughly two cups of coffee depending on how much you drink a day. Cons: They put a marketing sticker on the glass and it took me 15 minutes to peel and wash it off. It was very annoying. For something this expensive, it did not come with a measuring and stir spoon. Was very disappointing. The glass have that science glass beakers feel to it, didn't feel like it should cost $50+ dollars. Overall, I am pretty happy with my purchase. Especially since I was looking for a filter system that was different from the original french press and something that would be easy to clean.Date published: 2018-05-21
