Rated 3 out of 5 by Ross from Came with broken handle I just assembled this today and found one of the handles broken in the package....How do I get a replacement?Date published: 2019-07-28Rated 2 out of 5 by Nick from Craftmanship issues out of the box During the parts inspection I noticed one of the brackets wasn't properly bent to achieve a true 90° angle. The thermometer was broken in two pieces. It needs to be replaced. All parts seemed to be accounted for. During a assembly I noticed some of the components were still loose even after being tightened snug. I was able to fix that by adding some washer/lock washers.Date published: 2019-07-02Rated 3 out of 5 by PawPaw from 18" smoker Hold down clips do not line up properly. Pop loose under pressure.Date published: 2019-06-29Rated 5 out of 5 by pghfanone from Not bad For the price a very nice smoker. Assembly was longer than expected and the latches a little flimsy. The paint did burn off in places but that is to be expected. The temp gauge went south and is stuck at 440 . Hopefully, I can get a new one.Date published: 2019-03-25Rated 3 out of 5 by ALCHEMY bbq from Just ok Just got this vertical smoker today and assembled it. Cheap hardware, thin main body and the locking latches are super flimsy. Only thing that feels well made is the lid.Date published: 2019-03-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeff1110 from Assembles Easily Although I haven’t used it yet I would comment that it is quite well made and assembled easily.Date published: 2019-01-28Rated 3 out of 5 by Bear from How to attach the door? I received this as a gift and have assembled it. The handle is on the door but I am puzzed as how to attach the top of the door to the barrel. I’m I missing something? A part perhaps? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Date published: 2018-12-17Rated 3 out of 5 by Gary from Decent quality but did expect more from Cuisart 1. It takes longer than 15 minutes to assemble. 2. You need some type of wrench to tighten screws. 3. Assembly instructions are not clear regarding charcoal parts, for example coal grate and pan. Regarding the pan, the vent cut out leads one to believe that that piece should be turned and exposed to air. 4. The fire ring is flimsy and will deform and likely rust and break before the end of the smokers life. 5. The tabs holding the grates are too long resulting in having to spill the water basing making a mess. 6. The assembly latches are misaligned, do not compress tight, and when carrying the assembly it falls apart. I happened to have had the assembly fall apart over a wood floor and the sharp sided legs gouged the floor. 7. The video is cheesy and more a sales pitch rather than a helpful tool that explains how to load, start coals, adjust temperature. Right now I have no clue how the bottom venting system is supposed to work. Also the video and instruction sheet shows a charcoal starter being used and of course that does not come with the smoker.Date published: 2018-11-14
