Rated 3 out of 5 by Lea Duong from Bowl is stuck, but works fine. Works fine, but my removable bowl is stuck and cannot be removed for cleaning.Date published: 2019-03-18Rated 1 out of 5 by Pikeman101 from Totally Disappointed this time! I used the grinder 3 times - chopping up brazil nuts. Put 3tbsp of nuts in each time and it quit. Don't know what happened. Went to grind the last batch and nothing! Got so mad that I threw it out. Didn't know if I could get warranty or not because it was a gift from a friend in another city. First bad experience with a Cuisinart product and I was going to buy a coffee grinder as my next Cuisinart Product but I think I will try another brand this time. I have a Cuisinart. convection bread maker and Deep fryer never had a problem with them in 10 years.Date published: 2019-03-16Rated 4 out of 5 by Acooks from Spice grinder Great size but only has one speed. Seems to work well buy I have only used it 2 times since I received it.Date published: 2019-03-01Rated 2 out of 5 by Jim., C Cincinnati ohio. from I would not buy this again I bought a Cuisinart spice and nut grinder about 2 months ago. Works well, bigger than I need. It doesn't have a start switch which means I have to unplug it and plug it in as a start switch so that the normal push the top to run method doesn't throw spice throughout the grinder and the counter.Date published: 2019-02-06Rated 3 out of 5 by Mamasays from Has Issues Almost all my small appliances are cuisinart and I love them all. I recently purchased the spice grinder and immediately loved it until I tried to take it apart to clean it, the top section wouldn't come off. I returned it for a new one and so far so good. Would have given 5 stars had it not been for this issue, great for fresh and dried herbs and spices.Date published: 2019-02-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Watercupcake from Good for poppyseeds Bought this to grind poppyseeds for poppyseed rolls. Wanted to stop using the super sweet canned ones. But I was skeptical. This did a decent job. Not as good as the poppyseed mill my grandmother used but it got the job done. Also used it to grind cumin seeds after I ran out of powder for chili. Wow. Don’t think I’ll ever buy powder again. Easy to clean. Looks nice next to my other stainless appliances on countertop. Plan to use it a lot more.Date published: 2019-01-19Rated 2 out of 5 by Mark from Drive system is fragile I purchased the Cuisinart spice and nut grinder just over three years ago. It appeared robust, but I noticed that the mechanism linking the motor to the cup and blades was made of plastic that did not appear particularly durable. The grinder worked very well for about three years. But sure enough, shortly after the warranty expired, the plastic drive system stripped. The machine still functions, but it's very noisy, and I expect it to completely fail soon.Date published: 2019-01-17Rated 5 out of 5 by RBSE from Good product, would buy again I have success grinding flax, sesame, various herbs and bread crusts. The mill grinds evenly and finely. I have not noticed any problem with the motor bogging down when moderate amounts of material ground.Date published: 2018-12-31
Is it safe to use this product on a wet material, for example coffee beans soaked in milk? Can it grind things to a fine powder? Thanks!Hi Kyle, We would not recommend using this grinder to grind wet items. It's meant for dry items only and can grind them to a fine powder.Date published: 2018-12-23
