Rated 1 out of 5 by Happy Boy from Extreme Slow Cooker This cooker never came up to temp. Ran 11 Degree F below what it should . After 12 hours of running, the food was not cooked. The lid does not seal in the steam . Was unsure of the food so I trash can it. I not going to get sick try to eat food that is under cook for that time . Lucky for me I still have my 35 year old Slow Cooker that just a High and Low Setting. It so old that it was made in the Good Old USA.Date published: 2019-01-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Laura LC from crock pot I had this same model for a few years then the button/tab under the insert would not stay down so the unit would turn on nor stay on. Very aggravating. At Thanksgiving, our mashed potatoes were not staying warm. I received a new one as a gift. I will give this a go again. Hopefully, all will be good. I like the size, insert and function of this unit.Date published: 2019-01-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitwitch from Best slow cooker/muticooker ever This is my second multi cooker. It is so versatile. I have used all the functions of the cooker and use it at least once a week. This my favorite small appliance. The only issue is, only hand wash the pot. the dishwasher causes the outer finish to come off.Date published: 2019-01-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Robin from Love this I've had this multi cooker for five or six years now. I make chicken soup beef stew all kinds of things in it. It is probably the most used appliances in my kitchen. I love it! I would definitely recommend itDate published: 2019-01-17Rated 1 out of 5 by Jwalker from Poor Quality & Poor Customer Service I really wanted to love this multicooker. I liked the size & the versatility. However, after using it just three times for beans and stew, I noticed a significant amount of chipping & peeling to the non-stick coating. Before purchasing, I had read other reviewers complain about the same but decided to take a chance knowing that it was covered by Cuisinart's warranty. Cuisinart's poor customer service is the main reason for the 1 star rating. It took six weeks of emails & phone calls to reach a customer service representative. Multiple times, I waited on hold in excess of an hour before having to hang up. When I finally reached a rep, she was rude & denied that the chipping is a known issue despite the numerous reviews on multiple websites. I was required to pay for shipping the defective pot back to Cuisinart. It took weeks to receive the replacement. I was unable to use the new cooker for over two months. I am extremely careful & never use anything that will scratch the surface of my cookware & I have been extremely careful with this particular pot due to the previous chipping. After just a few uses, the replacement pot has begun to chip & peel. I feel like this is a quality control issue that Cuisinart needs to address.Date published: 2019-01-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Bammaa from Best multicooker I have ever owned. I had this model before and loved it so much that I wanted a replacement when my other one wore out.Date published: 2018-12-22Rated 1 out of 5 by galleyslave from Update to prior review. Don't waste your money. Originally, I only had problems with the non-stick coating failing badly despite very careful use. It cannot handle the heat settings of the device controls (roast, brown). Then it had the problems other have reported on with the error codes, even when just used as a crock pot, which was rare (once every few months) since it was easier to use a dutch oven than brown in one pot and move to this one. Then the heating element failed during use. Based on purchase cost, I probably paid $6 per time of actual use before it died.Date published: 2018-11-25Rated 4 out of 5 by ------ from Simplicity at best Great unit works very well and would defiantly recommendDate published: 2018-11-12
