I have had this mixer for about two years and loved it until the button to adjust the speeds broke. I only used it about a handful of times and hate to have purchase a new one!Date published: 2016-12-06Rated 5 out of 5 by ladyatthebeach from I love my new hand mixer I just built a home and took my Mom's hand mixer with me. It had been working fine. I used it once and it broke. Went on-line and bought this mixer. All the extra implements and the cord fit into the storage case beneath the mixer. How convenient! The mixer is digital and easy to use. Even I understood it on the first try! It's a keeper!Date published: 2015-12-26Rated 5 out of 5 by pajebynight from Lovely hand mixer I purchased this from Williams Sonoma in November 2013 and love it. I use it frequently, and have never had a problem. I was surprised to see how many people have had bad experiences. It's very nice, quiet, and I love that it has a storage case! I love this so much I am going to buy it for a friend for Christmas. I find it to be very durable, and it's the nicest mixer I've ever had.Date published: 2015-09-15Rated 1 out of 5 by avigil from Speed Adjuster Broke I bought this mixer and loved it at first use, but as other reviewers noted, the speed adjuster broke after 2 times using it. I contacted Cuisinart and they were only willing to give me 20% of a new one which was not sufficient for me. I eventually wrote a letter to corporate asking for an exception because it broke at no fault of my own. I had to pay $10 to have it fixed, ship it back, and track down a copy of my wedding registry to prove purchase. Hopefully the new one they send will work better!Date published: 2015-09-11Rated 5 out of 5 by love2cookandbake from Excellent mixer My mixer worked great for 3 years and, typically with appliances with plastic parts, the beaters eventually would not stay in place. I plan on purchasing another one because, it is easier for me to hold on to than the KitchenAide hand mixer and I really appreciated the digital control pad that displays the mixer speed and the count up timer.Date published: 2015-08-23Rated 1 out of 5 by Sooz1 from Poor quality mixer The first thing I noticed about this mixer is that the storage container is large, bulky and not very useful. It looked like a great idea, but in fact it takes up far too much room. Upon use, the first thing I noticed is that the mixer starts up way too fast. You need to use a deep container, because otherwise what you are mixing may splatter all over the kitchen. The second thing I noticed is that the controls are ergonomically ineffective. I keep forgetting that the speed control I'm used to now ejects the beaters--very inconvenient when you are in the middle of mixing things. It is also quite noisy, and the power cord is constantly in the way when I try to set the mixer down. And it can be difficult to seat the beaters. Cuisinart should have stuck to food processors. This product is a pain in the neck.Date published: 2015-06-08Rated 1 out of 5 by MrsEF from Broke the second time I used it The button to adjust the speed broke the second time I used it.Date published: 2015-04-25
