Use & Care


  • Place oven and appropriate accessories on a clean, dry, flat surface. 
  • Always make sure water reservoir is full before using any of the steam functions.
  •  Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. 
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord or plug, or place any part of the oven in water or other liquids.


  • Always unplug the oven from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
  • When cleaning the exterior, do not use abrasive cleansers, as they will damage the finish. Simply wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • To clean the interior walls, you can first loosen food debris by running the Steam cycle function. Follow the Operating Instructions, using the Steam function default (30 minutes at 210 ̊F). Once cycle is complete wipe interior with a cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh abrasives or corrosive products, which could damage the oven wall surface.
  • The oven rack, baking pan, broiling rack, and crumb tray are dishwasher safe.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Fried Chicken Salad Recipe

Preheat an oven to 450°F. Brush a large rimmed baking sheet with olive oil.

In a food processor, grind the tortilla chips finely and transfer to a pie dish. Stir in the marjoram, cumin and cayenne pepper. Brush the chicken on all sides generously with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Add the chicken, 2 pieces at a time, to the crumb mixture and turn to coat on all sides, pressing into the crumbs to help them adhere. Arrange the pieces, skin side up, on the baking sheet.

Transfer to the oven and roast until the crust is brown and the chicken is cooked through, about 35 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes to crisp.

Put the lime juice in a small bowl. Gradually whisk in the 1/4 cup olive oil to make a vinaigrette. Season with salt and black pepper. In a salad bowl, combine the spinach and tomatoes. Add the vinaigrette and toss to coat. Divide the chicken and salad among individual plates and serve immediately. Serves 4 to 6.

I have pictures to prove it! I have had many family and friends come over for dinner and cant believe I made all my meals from this oven. Chicken Beef, vegetables, fish dishes, pizza from scratch, Hotdogs w/ steamed buns, Hamburgers and toasted buns. Cauliflower tacos, pies, even soups! Its so easy and doesnt heat up our home. We have a duel oven that is very lonely! Steaming vegetables and chinese pork buns are a breeze! Reheating leftovers is also easy! Pasta is one we reheat all the time. Steaming frozen saugages and hotdogs on a stoneware plate is easy and quick. I have even made cheesecake! Many of our family and friends have purchased and are extremely happy with it. Only thing is when I go to their home thay want me to cook! The only thing I would change on it would be when timer is done it will beep until it is pushed off.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Small Convection Oven I cannot wrap my head around any of the bad reviews. I have had my oven six months now and have rarely used my full sized oven. I make everything from casseroles to chicken and anything and everything else. It crisps back up day old pizza and leftovers and cooks faster than regular ovens. My “show off” pieces are the croissants I bake that come from Williams Sonoma. The oven doesn’t heat up the kitchen and it’s easy to use. Best investment ever!!!

We refresh French bread with it too. Cook all my vegetables in it. My only complaint is it’s not quite big enough. I wish I could put two racks in.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's great until it's not... I love this steam oven, that is, until after a few uses. The oven stopped working properly; steam would escaped from the back of the oven and there would be no steam inside the oven. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is to have to deal with Cuisinart's customer service for replacement. It's been over a month since my first inquiry. They asked for a new piece of evidence each time they wrote back and it takes them exactly four days to reply to each of my emails. I am so frustrated. After asking for proof of purchase, they wanted to verified it the unit had ever be replaced. (And they verified this twice) Then, they wanted me to agree with paying for the shipping charges; after that they want a picture for the bottom of the unit and then the back of the unit, and then the picture of the boxes. And after sending them all these, they still can't send me the replacement. I just received another email asking for the 3 digit number located on the metal prongs of the power cord. I mean, what? I don't mind providing all these info but they should have asked for all these info in one clear email instead of on separate emails and answer every four days. I would not recommend buying this item at all.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not all it's cracked up to be for our family We purchased this oven about 6 months ago after having a Cuisinart Convection Toaster oven for 15 years and loving it. We use the oven DAILY and it finally had run its course... I purchased this thinking it would be a similar oven, with the addition of a steam feature when wanted. It's the small things for every day use that make this oven "unlikeable". While this may be great for baking bread, for baking off a quick batch of toll house cookies or making bagel bites for the littles, not so much. Scrolling through the menu is cumbersome and easy to overshoot time/temp. If you forget to hit the start button, you have to start over from the beginning. Having the temp and TIME to cook built in to the same menu selection process is not convenient as opposed to having a separate timer to manually set. The timer does not "start" until the oven has pre-heated. When that timer goes off, you better be near by as it is about 4-5 low pitched beeps, that if you miss it, forget it. No continuous beeping like our prior Cuisinart or reminder tone after 30 seconds or a minute like my microwave does. While the oven "turns off" from generating more heat, it's still hot in there and things can get away from you pretty quickly. Even if you are baking something and NOT wanting the steam feature, the vaccum like seal for the steaming process keeps all moisture in and impacts the baking of some items. I am going to be going back to my standard Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven and returning this one. VERY disappointing for our family.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Oven Purchased a month ago. Love it. Far superior to my old toaster oven. The steam/reheat option for leftovers is one of my favorite features. Microwaves are not that healthy and the ability to heat with steam is fantastic. I have also used the Convection oven feature for zucchini bread. Does not heat up my kitchen like my regular oven does. I bought the oven so I could make artisan bread (which requires the bake/steam option), and have not utilized that yet. Plan to do so shortly. Wish I had purchased this oven a year ago. Use it daily. Cleanup is easy...another great feature.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't Live Without Steam My husband has wanted this oven for a while, but I was hesitant: we don't need another oven, just takes up counter-top space, what would you cook with steam besides rice? Boy was I wrong! I use it every day. The first thing I made was roasted chicken, just followed the recipe that came with the oven, it was amazing, I've never tasted chicken this moist before. The size, for the two of us, is perfect. Now the regular oven is too big and warms up the house too much. I've purchased smaller Le Creuset bake wear and Chicago Metallic toaster oven pans, muffin tins, roaster pan, etc. I'm currently redesigning my kitchen and getting a built-in steam oven, 'cause this is all I use now. My husband was right, why did I wait so long to get this oven.

Perfect for those who want a second oven without remodeling their kitchen. ****IMPORTANT- to avoid the lingering smells some shared, you MUST empty the water catch below the oven after using the steam feature. The reservoir isn't in plain sight, so easy to miss without reading the instructions. =) PSA over. Otherwise, LOVE this small workhorse! The steam feature was my main reason for choosing this oven; haven't used my standard oven since. Chicken, fish (empty the water catch!), veggies all benefit from using steam. Bread- proofing and baking, easy and perfect crisp crust, soft delicious centers! Highly recommend, will be you new fav, too! Enjoy!

    Hi Katherine, The Cuisinart Combo Steam & Convection Oven is great for reheating leftovers if you prefer not to use a microwave. The Bake Steam function keeps leftovers moist. When reheating, put leftovers in the middle rack position uncovered and set oven to 250°F for about 20 minutes.
