Master pastry chef Jean-Yves Charon crafts our croissants in the traditional French style, using his buttery, award-winning puff pastry, cutting and shaping the pastries by hand. Shipped frozen, they are easy to prepare—just let rise overnight and then bake. The croissants emerge from the oven with flaky, golden-brown exteriors, delicate interiors and an irresistible buttery aroma. There’s no simpler way to bring a taste of France to the breakfast table.
- 15 croissants; 2 lb. 13 oz. total.
- Shipped frozen.
- Made in USA.
- A Williams Sonoma exclusive.
- Use & Care
- The croissants ship frozen with dry ice. Please take care not to touch the dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, remove croissants from the shipping container and place in the freezer, where they will keep for up to one month.
- Place the frozen croissants, rounded side up, on a nonstick or parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover loosely with a sheet of parchment paper. Let rise at room temperature (68° to 72°F) for about 9 hours or overnight. Each croissant should measure about 4 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" high. Preheat an oven to 375°F. Remove the top parchment paper. If desired, lightly beat 1 egg with 1 Tbs. cold water and, using a pastry brush, brush the croissants with the egg wash. Bake the croissants until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, enzyme, ascorbic acid [dough conditioner]), butter, water, sugar, yeast, salt, dough conditioner (wheat flour, malted barley flour, ascorbic acid [dough conditioner], enzymes).

Rated 1 out of 5 by JuicyJosie from Rip off I have been buying this item for a while now. Last few times i bought them, i received two boxes, this time i received one which comes out to almost two dollars a croissont. I will NEVER buy this item again.Date published: 2019-02-13Rated 1 out of 5 by Casper from Disappointed! I thought it might just be me, but seeing some of the other reviews, I realize it is not. I have bought these before and loved them enough that I told my daughter-in-law about them and that they tasted just like the croissants I remember getting in France....and then received two boxes from her as a Christmas gift. I was VERY excited. However, they are not the same as my previous orders...and my husband agrees. They don't have the real french croissant flavor and flakiness that the previous ones had. I thought maybe it was because they had to make them in such bulk for Christmas that the quality had slipped. However, based on my experience with these, as well as reading other reviews from people who feel the same, I am not sure I will order more. They are much too expensive, even on sale, to test just to see if they have improved. There are other brands out there that are definitely better than this latest batch. Sorry, but I am so disappointed!Date published: 2019-01-27Rated 2 out of 5 by Alano from What’s changed Like some other reviewers have bought these every Christmas for years. This year they were flat and oily.. very disappointing as not inexpensive.Date published: 2019-01-05Rated 1 out of 5 by Silligoose from What happened? We’ve had these croissants every Christmas morning for the past 10 years. This year they were totally different. My whole family was so disappointed. They were not flaky or buttery... more bagel like than croissant like. Please bring the old recipe back!Date published: 2018-12-31Rated 2 out of 5 by bstj8 from Disappointed-Lacked Rising-Poor Flavor/Taste I have been purchasing these croissants for years and this year I was greatly disappointed! They did not rise like in the past, had poor taste and just not the same as in the past years of orderening. I don’t know what went wrong with the recipe, but I did notice a great change in flavor and shape. They were not folded correctly either and that caused then to loose their correct shape when they were rising overnight as directed. I do hope that they will change back to the original recipe and vendor. I will need to rethink about ordering them again in 2019.Date published: 2018-12-30Rated 1 out of 5 by Dominicvail from Used to be the best These croissants used to be the best on the market. We’ve both like 50 of these boxes. They must have changed the recipe because they now taste like flavorless bread. They are no longer real croissants.Date published: 2018-12-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan17 from Wow! Bought these for the first time and wow. They came through the heat to Florida in great condition- on dry ice and fully frozen. I froze them immediately and took out two last night to rise. They were three times the size this morning. I gave them an egg wash and cooked at 375 for 12 minutes(not the 15-20 as directed). They were on parchment paper and a little too brown on the bottom, but tasted fantastic. It may be my oven, but I think you should watch these closely (without opening the door). You can go by the smell when to take them out. Next time, I’ll lower the temperature a little. I highly recommend these.Date published: 2018-11-23Rated 3 out of 5 by Cliffie from Not what they used to be Have been ordering these for years and everyone loves them. But in recent months, the quality has deteriorated. Are smaller and do not rise as before. Not sure what is going on...Date published: 2018-11-18
