we have owned this product for a couple of years. It seems the Kapoosh insert is not functioning properly, is there a way to obtain a replacement insert?Hi Paul, Our understanding is that Kapoosh has not made replacement knife rods available at this time. Please see below for common questions & answers regarding the rods: Several rods in my Kapoosh are bent and tangled so I am not able to fit all my knives in it. What do I do? Our recommendation is to turn the block upside down to remove the rod block. (They will not fall out into many pieces, all the rods are attached to a base.) If you can snip out the bent rods below the bend, this should allow you additional room to fit more knives. The flex rods in my knife block are extremely tight and I can't fit many knives into it. What can I do? Our recommendation is to turn the block upside down to remove the rod block. (They will not fall out into many pieces, all the rods are attached to a base.) If you can snip out the bent rods below the bend, this should allow you additional room to fit more knives. Below please find cleaning instructions for the rods: Remove the rods and place them on the top rack of the dishwasher keeping the heat cycle off. You may also hand wash them (this is the recommended method). Once washed, let sit upside down approximately 12 hours to dry out. Then, fan out and let sit for a few more hours to completely dry. If used frequently, consider cleaning once a month.Date published: 2019-09-21
