Delicious desserts for birthdays, anniversaries and other festivities begin with our customized cake pans. Each one makes a scalloped cake that's about half the thickness of a standard cake layer, so you don't need to slice the cakes horizontally. Simply stack the layers with fillings or frostings to create an impressive cake.

  • Designed for even heating and quick baking, these sturdy aluminum pans are finished with a premium nonstick coating that guarantees effortless release and cleanup.
  • Create 2 thin, scalloped cake layers, ready for frostings and fillings.
  • The cake layers can be stacked evenly on top of each other for a uniform shape that lends well to frosted sides, or offset to create a staggered look that requires frosting only between the layers.

Use & Care


  • Before each use, wash pan with hot, soapy water.
  • Oven safe to 400°F.
  • Use only wood, silicone, plastic or other nonmetal utensils to avoid scratching the surface.
  • For best results, brush pan with a nonstick baking spray with flour. Turn pan upside down and tap to remove excess flour. These steps will help ensure easy release and excellent pattern definition.
  • When pouring in batter, begin with a small amount, making sure that the liquid fills in all of pan's details. Pour in remaining batter.
  • To prevent overflow, do not fill more than 3/4 full.
  • Gently tap pan on counter several times to release excess air bubbles from batter.
  • After baking, cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
  • To unmold, tap pan firmly a few times. Invert onto a cooling rack and lift pan away.
  • Allow cake to cool completely before decorating.


  • Hand-wash. Dry thoroughly.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners such as metal scouring pads, as they can damage the surface.
  • A soft sponge or kitchen brush will remove baked-on food particles. You may need to scrub lightly.

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

Used for the first time and, based on other reviews, sprayed a bit heavier than I normally would. The cakes still stuck to the pan and were difficult to remove. Was not very pretty. So, next time will go back to hand greasing/flouring the bottom and sides. One other thought is that the cake I made was vegan-no butter or eggs. The cakes rose as expected and the sizing for 1/2 cake worked perfectly in 2 pans. Good all around - just not “non-stick”.

I was extremely disappointed when I had difficulty removing the layers from the “non stick” pans which I sprayed and then lightly floured. I know as an advanced baker that butter cakes can be more difficult to remove than other cakes that may have some oil in them. I wanted to believe that the non stick pans would take care of the problem.The only way I know how to avoid this is to cut out my own parchment paper to fit the scalloped pans. The pans did bake evenly, but most of my layers were broken. I will have to rebake the cake.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from great but need more pans It makes a great stacked cake but I had to buy another set they are very shallow. Otherwise you will have too much leftover batter. But it works perfectly with any recepie provided you have 4 pans. One pan came with some slight scratches and a very light dent and I was concerned it would make an imprint on the cake. Lot's of compliments but you either need 4 or need to cut your recepie in half.

SO easy to use and clean and I can bake great cake that look difficult but are so easy to layer . No more uneven layers .Just wish it was easier to store them but I ended up storing them in a cabinet in the garage .

  • Because these are shallower pans, do I need to adjust the baking time and / or temperature?

    Hi Iwanna kno, Every oven is different and is impacted by humidity, altitude, etc. With shallower pans, we recommend lowering the baking time and closely monitoring during the baking process. The cake will be finished when the top / sides are golden brown, and a toothpick / fork can be inserted and removed from the center of the pan cleanly.

    How many pans are needed for one boxed cake mix?

    Hi Pamela, An average 2-layer boxed cake mix yields 4 to 5 ½ cups of batter, depending on the thickness of the batter. The celebration layer cake pans are only ¾” deep, while a standard 9” round cake pan is 1 ½” deep. We recommend only filling the celebration layer cake pans 3/4 full, which takes 1 cup of batter per pan.

    Hi Franavan, Each pan can hold up to 2.5 cups if filled to the top, but we recommend only filling ¾ of each pan.
