- Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction compatible).
- Safe for use with metal spatulas, spoons and whisks as well as nylon, silicone, coated or wooden utensils.
- Do not use other types of metal utensils, such as forks or knives.
- Oven safe to 500 degrees F.
- Do not use aerosol cooking sprays; buildup over time will cause foods to stick.
- Allow pan to cool before washing.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
- Stubborn food residue and stains can be removed with a nylon scrubbing pad and a fine-powdered cleanser.

Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Alex from 6 QT Saute Pan Fails to Keep its Shape I purchased this pan about 3 weeks ago now and have used it half a dozen times. I bought it to replace an older 6 QT saute pan that my family just loved. This size of pan is great for so much. However, this pan has really not lived up to its brand promise or its title as "elite". I am not sure if it is just an overall lowering of quality as another reviewer mentioned or just a bad design. Because this pan domes significantly when exposed to even moderate heat. This doming in the center of the pan is so significant that using it for searing or any sort of pan frying is almost not practical. Once the pan has heated up, any oil put in the pan just pools around the outer perimeter while the center dome is very hot and oil-less. This creates a situation where the oil just won't get up to temp quickly and you end up having to crank the heat way up to try and get it to go (which in turn makes the center scorching hot). I have a fairly typical GE flattop range and when I use the largest burner the pan will develop an almost immediate dome (which I am fearful will become permanent over time). I am not sure what type of range this product is meant for but I just can't recommend it based on its performance on my range. In my head I think perhaps you need a heating surface that can distribute the heat more evenly across the bottom of the pan but then I think about what that looks like and am not sure they exists. Again, not sure why its performance is so underwhelming (incidentally I also don't design cookware so I think my ignorance is okay).Date published: 2019-02-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Benos from Excellent multi-purpose pan I find I use a large saute pan more than just about any other pan for sauteeing and sweating aromatics and making big skillet meals and stovetop braises, and this pan does a great job handling it all. It's got good weight, a tight-fitting lid, and at six quarts, has enough volume and surface area to do a lot of different things. When making a skillet pasta, the heat is conducted uniformly to simmer across the whole pan, ensuring everything is cooked properly. I haven't used metal utensils with it, but the nonstick releases food and cleans up very well. We got the highest end one and were disappointed with the quality. The handle was hollow, not solid like the old one. The pan surface was a smaller diameter even though it was the same size as our old one. The pan weighed 1/2 of what our old one did and the surface was sparkly - seemingly cheap. I love the double handles in particular. It's a beautiful piece of Calphalon cookware as are all the pieces in this line. Not sure how long the interior surface will hold up but having gotten eight pieces all on sale, I'm extremely pleased. Clean up is a breeze with very little effort. I take extra care with my cookware and after hand washing and drying, I spray a fine mist of olive oil in it and lightly wipe before storing. Each piece is stored separately with its lid on - never nested with another.Date published: 2015-01-12
