- Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction-compatible).
- Oven-safe to 450°F.
- Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching the nonstick surface.
- Do not use aerosol cooking sprays; buildup over time will cause foods to stick.
- Allow pan to cool before washing.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
- Stubborn food residue and stains on the interior can be removed with a soft bristle brush; use a nonabrasive pad or sponge on the exterior.

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. Orders received by 9:00 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

I have always taken great care of the pot and always hand washed it, however, water gets trapped inside the rim of the glass cover causing rust to develop. Water gets trapped between the stainless steel rim and glass. I purchased a replacement lid, and water is still getting trapped inside the rim of the cover on my replacement lid. I love the size for when my family come to dinner. However I have not used any steel wool on it and the bottom is peeling off. I use Dawn dish wash and no other cleaning product on it. Very disappointed in the purchase. I contacted Sonoma and they asked me to send photographs. I thought the strainer lid sounded like an intriguing idea, so I purchased two different sizes. The smaller one is fine, but larger one arrived with a dented lid that was impossible to fit on the pot. Customer Service was great, and immediately sent another one. I used it one time and noticed that the lid was again badly dented. I have no idea how it happened, since I did not drop it or bang it on anything. Before purchasing this, be aware that even when the lids are NOT dented they do not seal the pot enough to cook rice or anything that needs a closed lid. I can see through the pouring spout (if that is what you call it) even when the lid is not turned to the straining opening. The spout holes are too large to drain anything less thick than linguine. You can’t really see through the glass top (whole reason to have a glass top!) because it gets condensed during cooking. The lid gets hot so you have to use a mitt and the handle gets hot by the base you have to use a mitt for that too! I absolutely LOVE this sauce pan!! It is the perfect size for most of my cooking needs. Love the strain feature!! Clean up is a breeze! The strain feature also allows just enough gap to keep your pot from boiling over and making a mess. My only complaint is that it can be a little hard to handle when straining due to the size of the handle and the weight of the pot.
