If you're looking for the ultimate chocolate dessert, this is it. Featured on the Food Network, the three-layer Valrhona chocolate cake is filled with silky Belgian chocolate ganache and fluffy malted cream, then covered with an intensely rich, dark fudge frosting. For a fabulous finishing touch, the grand cake is topped with shimmering golden glitter and a sprinkling of sparkling fleur de sel from France's Île de Ré. This magnificent cake is handcrafted in Indiana by the artisans of Gwendolyn Rogers' award-winning Cake Bake Shop – and arrives beautifully packaged in the bakery's signature pink cake box.

- Use & Care
- The cake is shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, remove the cake from the shipping box and store in the freezer for up to 3 months, or defrost in the refrigerator overnight and keep for up to 4 days. If cake will not be served within 24 hours of receipt, store in the freezer, then follow the serving directions below.
- The cake is best enjoyed at room temperature. Remove the plastic from the cake while it is still frozen. Defrost in the refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, remove from box and allow the cake to come to room temperature, approx. 2–4 hours before serving. Finish the cake by topping it with the fleur de sel. To serve, run a large knife under hot water and dry with a towel before every slice. Store leftover cake in an airtight container, where it will keep for up to 2 days.

Please allow up to two weeks for processing and delivery of perishable items, which are shipped two-day delivery to ensure freshness. Perishable items are not eligible for rush shipping. We do not ship perishable items outside the contiguous 48 states or P.O. Boxes.

My niece brought a fleet of CakeBakeShop for me to sample....my favorite was Earl's Court. When my birthday rolled around I knew this was what I wanted for my cake. Traveled to California without a hitch.....beautifully packed and flawless when removed from the box.. Just as delicious and fresh as the one I had sampled in the Spring...I was soooooo happy! I've had cakes made locally that did not taste as moist and fresh. High quality Verona Chocolate and butter elevate the whole experience. I would not hesitate to order again and I encourage anyone considering a purchase to DO IT....you won't regret it....worth every penny.
