Rated 4 out of 5 by ukgk from Good quality; can be a bit tough to seal. Have bought these for several years now. They are good quality and durable. Never had one tear. They can be a little tough to seal. Once you get the hang of it though, they work extremely well. We love these bags and don't brine without them.Date published: 2017-12-28Rated 1 out of 5 by Gayle from Terrible bags I used the bag to brine my 19 lb turkey. When we carefully lifted the bag out of the pan it split open. All of the brine spilled all over our kitchen floor. It was a terrible mess.Date published: 2017-11-27Rated 5 out of 5 by Eliza from Obsessed with these bags I’ve been using these bags for a few years now. I’ve never had a tear or leak. But I’ve always used some common sense and never not put the heavy turkey plus brine mixture on a tray to lift. I think the bag seals beautifully and the clips help reinforce the bag shut. The ‘ziplock’ on these bags is a bit tricky - you have to press very hard and hear the click before they’re sealed well. Folks rave about the turkey and I think the brine makes it so juicy. I also cook my birds in an oven bag. My only complaint is that you get two sizes in each box and since I only use these at Thanksgiving I’m always wasting the small one. I really wish they sold the two sizes seperately.Date published: 2017-11-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Pril from Great bags! I used these bags last Thanksgiving and was very pleased with the bags and brine (Rosemary and Garlic mix). Worked great and look forward to a perfect brined turkey this year!Date published: 2017-09-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Andrew from I've been using these bags a few years Love these bags, what time saver, I use the Autumn Fruit & Spice Brining Blend, I've had both prebrined I think I do a better job at bringing.Date published: 2017-09-08Rated 3 out of 5 by GrandmaBee from well designed/disappointing I purchased this item as well as the Autumn Fruits Turkey Brine at our local Williams-Sonoma store in East Cobb, Georgia. I was satisfied with the bags. They don't leak and make fitting the turkey back into the refrig easy. I used an organic turkey purchase from Costco and followed the instructions. The end result was not worth the trouble. The turkey was not flavorful and in fact was odd in taste. I will not brine again and I will most likely buy a Butterball next Thanksgiving and be done with it.Date published: 2016-11-27Rated 1 out of 5 by SJP712 from Poor Quality I have used these bags in the past and it's been hit or miss.I placed a 20LB turkey with two gallons of brine and when I went to pick up the bag to place on a tray it ripped open... The water and brine mixture was all over the kitchen floor....Date published: 2016-11-24Rated 1 out of 5 by wonks from Very Poor Quality It's the day before Thanksgiving as I type this. I made my Alton Brown brine, cooled it, washed the turkey and put the turkey and the brine in the large bag and the bag tore on the bottom in less than an hour. ( I did have the brine and the turkey in an Igloo/Playmate type cooler in the garage so luckily I avoided a complete mess ). However, for the price and being a Williams Sonoma product it is awful. Never again.Date published: 2016-11-23
