Rated 2 out of 5 by Stephanie from Exploding Static Ground Ruin This Grinder This grinder would be very good if it were not for exploding static-charged grounds. It grinds nicely and has great features in the ability to grind to a pre-measured amount, but when you remove the container to retrieve your grounds, and then open the lid, the static electricity is sometime so great that that ground fly 8-10 inches all around, making for a terrible mess to clean up on the counter, on the floor, under the counter-top appliances. It is not worth the effort. Additionally, the shape of the grounds container makes it difficult to pour into the coffee filter without making further mess. Consider another grinder.Date published: 2019-03-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Wissota from Fun, easy to use, smells great, quiet. Bought this for my husband, he absolutely loves it. Also purchased the Brim pour over coffee maker. Can't wait to make coffee for friends!Date published: 2018-12-10Rated 1 out of 5 by BayGirl from Keep looking I bought this and am returning. There is no way that it can grind enough beans for 10 cups. While the bean container is large, the max line prevents enough beans to make a difference. Not worth the money. Very surprised at the inadequacies of this grinder.Date published: 2018-11-05Rated 4 out of 5 by MZB24 from Almost 5 stars This grinder does an excellent job of grinding coffee. Very pleased with that. Two improvements needed: 1- After grinding I tip the device to the left and rap it sharply to get all the grounds into the bin. If I do not the extra bits fall out as I remove the bin and I need to brush them out to re-insert the bin. 2- the dials for number of cups and for the grind setting both need to be tighter, they are way too easy to accidentally move off the desired setting which can result in poor coffee.Date published: 2018-08-29Rated 1 out of 5 by Sad Consumer from Wasteful! I have tried to find love in my heart for this expensive, impressive piece of electronic gadgetry, but there is no admiration for cleaning up coffee grounds all over the counter every single time I use it. I don't know if the plastic container (whose lid has already snapped after a month's use) wasn't fitting properly or what. Unless you plan to scoop your coffee every single time and not worry about the grounds that stick to inside of the container, the top of the container, the inside of the machine, and all over the compartment where the plastic "ground catcher" fits, then you may can live with the mess. I find myself wiping almost a teaspoon or more of grounds every time I grind coffee. Yes, it's quieter. Yes, it attractive. Yes, it does grind coffee from fine to coarse. We purchase expensive coffee and drink it every day, so we do not like washing the grounds down the sink or sweeping them into a dustpan. Countertop space is a premium in most homes and any machine must function well in our home. We are about to toss it away and purchase a small hand held model that has more control. Unless you want something to impress guests, find yourself something more economical that gets the job done correctly.Date published: 2018-07-25Rated 5 out of 5 by StephPezz15 from State of the art grinder! We received this grinder as a gift and couldn't be more pleased. It comes with a lot of extra bells and whistles that a typical grinder doesn't offer. I can grind much more and it's much less messy than grinding smaller amounts with multiple transfers into larger containers or coffee makers. Highly recommend!Date published: 2018-04-24Rated 4 out of 5 by EricaL from Love the options I love fresh ground coffee for my french press so I love the option it gives for the coarse ground. Very sleek looking as well so it's not an eye sore.Date published: 2018-04-17Rated 5 out of 5 by WhitneyC from Super fast and easy I've had this grinder for a few weeks now, and love it. It is so easy to use; from unboxing to finishing my first pound of grounds, to clean up was less than ten minutes. The variety of settings let me prep grounds for hot and cold brews, so no need for multiple machines. My only "con" is the size of the machine itself; it's small enough to fit on the counter under cabinets, but in a perfect world I would have liked it to be a bit more compact.Date published: 2018-04-04
