If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.   • Rated 2 out of 5 by from I should have bought something else. It was a great coffee maker until the carafe broke. Brim does not offer an OEM replacement. They suggest the Bodum 6 cup carafe which I promptly purchased. It is too short and during the drip process hot water splatters off the rim in all directions creating a hazard and a mess. I wish I had spent some extra money and bought something else.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great coffee; when carafe breaks no replacement This machine makes fantastic coffee. After a year of babying it, the carafe cracked on the botton. I reported it to brim. The warranty on the carafe is for 3 months. There is not a replacement carafe to buy that fits in the hot pad area. The company does not make a replacement to sell either. I'm going to buy a Mocamaster. A bit more but at least you can buy a carafe if it breaks. Also, customer service at Brim or Sensio Inc. Is horrible. It's a prepopulated response that pretty much says we aren't going to help you.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved it... UNTIL IT BROKE I realllly loved this coffee maker. It was so easy to setup in the morning and brew a great cup of coffee. I didn't have much issue with it getting too cold either because it's a smaller carafe. However, one morning I was brewing per usual and it just BROKE!!! NOT THE CARAFE THE MACHINE!!!!! It seemed water was seeping out the bottom so a valve or something must have broke and wouldn't you know it??? NO ONE has responded to my emails.. Not surprised given the reviews on the website. My SIL also purchased this and broke her carafe so I knew they didn't offer replacements, which is CRAZY, I mean think of all the money they could get offering to let us PURCHASE a new carafe?! DUH. BUT OMG I've had the machine LESS than a year and it's already brokeeeee.... ughhhhh why is nothing made to last anymore?! I looooved this coffee maker and now I'm soooo sad!!!

We have 3 kids, so I am sure you can imagine making a pourer in the morning can be a little difficult. This makes our mornings go a little smoother and the coffee is still AMAZING.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking coffee maker I finally splurged and bought this to replace my small, 4 cup cheap model. It is very large sitting on a small countertop, but I got used to that eventually. During the first week or so, the coffee was very. After that, I had to heat the coffee in the microwave to get it to the temperature I like. The burner doesn't stay on very long, so you need to add a bit of water then turn the unit back on. The carafe is very wide and I found it difficult to pour, having small hands with arthritis. It is also very fragile. After being very cautious while washing, I slightly bumped it into the faucet and it broke. There is not a replacement available for just the carafe. I will not spend another $300+ on this coffee maker.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, fast and quiet...and great coffee! This little coffee maker does not get as much love as it should. First of all, I've owned just about every brand and style. In a nutshell, this machine is quiet, fast and makes a great cup of coffee. And in a pinch, the carafe and filter holder can be used for pour over when the power fails (as ours did recently). We've adjusted our morning ritual to making two smaller pots since the heater goes off quickly (which is actually quite ok as the coffee starts to burn after too long on the warming plate). Since we can no longer find a glass-lined thermal carafe, and don't want to transfer the coffee to a separate carafe, this style was what we looked for. Clean up is fast and easy and yes, the glass carafe is fragile as some have stated. But with careful cleaning and handling it should be just fine. The Brim brings all the fun of pour over without all the nonsense of unnecessary features, bells and whistles. No clock, no temperature controls, no buttons other than on/off. Elegant simplicity at its finest.

    Hi Magana123, The permanent laser etched stainless steel coffee filter takes the place of disposable paper filters. Simply place the permanent coffee filter basket into the filter basket holder. Use the handle tab to lift the filter basket of used coffee grounds up and off the decanter.

    when the coffee is brewing, is it supposed to be a constant stream or kind of sputter as it heats and sends the water through the machine?

    Hi jc77, We don’t believe it is a constant stream. It will send waves of water through as it heats, which also creates agitation in the brew basket for a proper extraction.
