Rated 5 out of 5 by Feline Foster Mom from Best personal blender hands down! I tried just about every personal blender out there and found this one to be the very best. Yes, it can be rather difficult to unscrew the blade assembly from the cup, but the extra effort required is well worth the results. As another reviewer said, the only real issue with the unit is a design flaw which allows tiny seeds and particles to reach and get lodged in amongst the lid screw threads. Otherwise the unit works quite well and much better than all other blenders sampled. =^..^=Date published: 2018-08-06Rated 2 out of 5 by caen from Base is huge and heavy Im a fan of Breville products and needed a daily juicer. I find the bladed lid top is so broad that unless you have large hands, its very tough to twist and close onto the cup securely. Also I'm finding it difficult to firmly twist the entire gadget onto the heavy base for it to operate on/off. Unsure if i would recommend this item....Date published: 2018-07-11Rated 3 out of 5 by MandT from It's big...too big I have had an original magic bullet for 6 years. We received this from our registry and when we finally saw it in person, it is the size of a regular blender. We make smoothies twice a day and having something taking up this much counter space doesn't work for us. It does feel well made, but I also wish we got more bottle size options with it. Will be looking for something small.Date published: 2018-03-28Rated 3 out of 5 by RWB3 from Powerful but fall short on design First off, Breville makes good products. The motor on this blender is excellent. The capacity of the larger cup is what sold me. However, you have to really twist the blade assembly on or else it's a 50/50 chance of a mess. Berries with seed also compact into the slots so you HAVE to be sure to get those out or else you won't get a good seal. I use mine daily, so I rinse it off and set it out to dry. My biggest complaint is you cannot buy additional containers. I've also had issues where the motor wouldn't engage -- I'm sure it had something to do with the blade assembly because eventually I got it to work. You will definitely need a strong grip to get the blade assembly off from the container. Overall, excellent product but it falls short on design for usability. The inability to buy additional containers is ridiculous. I guess Breville would prefer you to buy an additional blender.Date published: 2017-12-18Rated 1 out of 5 by Kellie from I'm strong but not enough to start or take apart?! As much as I loved my smoothies I had to take it back. After about 3 uses I couldn't even grip it well enough to turn it to get it started. Then to unlock it, I had to sit down to regain the strength to open this bad boy--before working out! It took 5-10 attempts and totally wore me out. If are or you have a strong man around all the time, you'll be fine; otherwise get one that's easier to function.Date published: 2017-12-10Rated 2 out of 5 by JWeiss from Kid stuck I have been using this product for a few months to make incidental smoothies. The blade and housing have stuck on the container and will not come off. It wasnt overfilled - I was very careful w that! Plan to buy a different model. I found several other people w this same complaint online.Date published: 2017-10-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Jillyb from Fabulous blender I bought this blender without many reviews to go by and have been completely happy with my purchase. As all blenders seem to be they're noisy and I'm ok with that. The best features are ease of use, strong blade and motor which make a fabulous smoothie consistency each and every time and complete ease of cleaning. I enjoy the fact that it comes with two different size insulated cups and with lids that makes it easy to blend and go. This has been a great new gadget in our kitchen that is getting used about 2-3x per week. I highly recommend this blender!Date published: 2017-10-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Bratt2 from Best personal blender Bought this for my son, he is using it ever day.
