Time-honored preparation and the freshest ingredients are hallmarks of Italian cuisine, and Tuscan Markets prides itself on recreating classic dishes from Italy's many diverse regions. Their bread sampler includes a quartet of artisanal favorites, handcrafted with slowly fermented biga starter, which yields a light, open texture and crunchy, golden crusts. Individually sealed to preserve freshness, the savory loaves are ready to warm in the oven and enjoy on their own, dipped in pasta sauce or extra-virgin olive oil or served with soups and stews. Our sampler includes:
Ciabatta: Light and airy "slipper" bread with a crisp, delicate crust. (1 lb.)
Olive: Rustic Italian bread topped with Sicilian Kalamata olives, extra-virgin olive oil and sea salt (1 lb. 4 oz.)
Garlic: Savory artisan sourdough blended with oven-roasted garlic and extra-virgin olive oil. (1 lb. 5 oz.)
Pugliese: Classic Italian sourdough with a crunchy, golden crust and tender, chewy interior. (1 lb. 11 oz.)
- Four loaves, one of each variety.
- Approx. 5 lb. 4 oz. total.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Califanna from Huge Loaves I mistakenly ordered the Artisan Bread Sampler thinking it was coming from Nashoba Brook Bakery. The sourdough breads were from Nashoba but these breads were not from that bakery. The breads were not labeled and they do not look like the website photo and they appear to be over-proofed. I will update my review once everyone tries the bread this Friday.Date published: 2019-12-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Tootsie21 from Fantastic!!!! Fantastic bread...I will buy again!!!! Family loved the taste.Date published: 2019-12-06Rated 5 out of 5 by AdagioMom from Absolutely 5 Stars Fantastic bread...all the 5 stars reviews are true.Date published: 2019-11-28Rated 5 out of 5 by kris from Amazingly delicious! I bought this on a whim to freeze for when company pops in. The look, smell, and freshness compelled me to open them. This was the best olive loaf I have ever had. They did not skimp on the olives, which were loaded throughout the bread, fresh delicious olives, bread was crusty and soft, I couldn't stop eating it. I could go on and on, but you get the point, so worth the money, in my opinion, the price isn't bad. The loaves are big, and as lovely as pictured. Guess I have to order another for company....Date published: 2019-11-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Silvergirl from Delicious and great price. All four of these loaves are a delicious example of the craft of homemade bread baking. The roasted garlic is our favorite with whole cloves of roasted garlic baked right into the bread. The ciabatta is light and airy and the olive loaf is wonderful sliced, toasted and served with roasted peppers, artichoke hearts and prosciutto on top. The sour dough is a perfect all around bread with just the right amount of "sour" to it. And, they all freeze beautifully. I highly recommend this bread sampler to anyoneDate published: 2019-06-02Rated 5 out of 5 by cookenthusiast from AMAZING Wow.Is this bread impressive. The loafs are HUGE and fresh.I hope you continue to offer this every year. What a wonderful and unique gift to send for the Holidays.LOVEDate published: 2017-12-07Rated 5 out of 5 by efcl from Amazing toasted or grilled We really like these breads. Very versatile! They're light, so don't be put off by the size of a four bread order. We halve the big ones and freeze them all, which they survive beautifully. Toast them, grill sandwiches, and definitely use instead of burger buns. Does not overpower bruchetta or pesto spreads, but will hold up well.Date published: 2017-09-18Rated 5 out of 5 by jkdixon from Great gift I purchased this collection of breads as a Christmas gift for a dear friend. The breads arrived within several days, and the recipient was very pleased with the variety of loaves.Date published: 2017-02-25
