Rated 5 out of 5 by lucas889 from My favorite All-Clad Pan This French brasier is a very versitile pan which can serve a multitude of purposes. You can pan fry, sear or roast with ease. With the very sturdy rack, you could roast a whole chicken with side vegetables. If you brown a whole butterflied chicken, you can then place stuffing in the pan, then lay the chicken on top of the stuffing (skin side up) and roast. The drippings will flavor the stuffing. You will want to leave this pan on the stovetop because you will use it almost everyday. Love it.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by StacyIN from Go-to pan This is now my go-to pan for stir-frying veggies. The sides are tall enough that when you mix the veggies, they very seldom fall outside of the pan. Love this pan!Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Bella C. from I LOVE THIS BRAISER!! I have been an All Clad fan since I bought my first set in 1974-ish. Professional cooking to personal needs you cannot beat the quality. The braiser was a gift to myself.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Mad dog from Great pan It's a great pan for cooking everything from stove top to oven and cleans up wellDate published: 2018-12-13Rated 4 out of 5 by loma from Large and surprisingly lightweight This is a big braiser, almost 13" in diameter, and it includes a heavy duty meat rack and a nice high domed lid. It is also surprisingly lightweight for all clad, which makes it very maneuverable. At the same time, it sadly doesn't seem to heat very evenly. My largest electric radiant burner is 10", so perhaps that's at least part of the problem. I've even wondered if this braiser really was tri-ply. Meanwhile, my old and VERY heavy 12" Piazza sauteuse doesn't have the same problem with uneven heating or hot spots on the same 10" burner. I prefer the lighter weight of the all clad braiser for its maneuverability but I wish it performed more like my too-heavy Piazza sauteuse. Even so, I find myself reaching for the all clad braiser because it is so easy to handle in comparison to my Piazza sauteuse.Date published: 2014-11-10
