Standard Cups & Spoons
Rated 5 out of 5 by Arielina from Best Quality! I have both sets now for almost a year and they will be mine forever. I won't have toDate published: 2018-08-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark Stump from Quality, should last forever. I have owed these since June 2011. When possible I like to own things that should last forever. I count these measuring cups and spoons among those things I am proud to own and will never have to replace.Date published: 2018-06-30Rated 3 out of 5 by EvangelineAnn from Ok but not great Quality is unsurpassed but I just don't like the cups. The smaller ones remind me of playing house. They seem so tiny but again the All-Clad quality can't be beat. I'm thinking about using the measuring cups in my canister. As for stacking, I was so afraid they wouldn't with so many mixed reviews but to my surprise they do somewhat but nothing like the picture. As for the spoons I love them! No more spills!!! I will definitely be ordering the odd sizes as soon as they go on sale again. I thought of ordering both sets of spoons and cups orginially but I am so glad I decided to wait.Date published: 2017-09-20Rated 4 out of 5 by Mystic Gypsy from Good quality product This is my first set of "non-plastic" measuring cups so I am extremely pleased with the quality. The weight (they sit on the counter just fine and do not tip over)and build of the cups meet my expectations for my baking needs. I've owned these cups for about a month and have had no problems. They do not nest but I keep my items separate anyway. I gave this set 4 stars only because I thought they were kind of expensive BUT if they last a long time then I will be extremely pleased.Date published: 2017-07-29Rated 3 out of 5 by Luv2Cook from Solid construction but has flaws Durable, made to last. Loved the 1st set so much that I bought a 2nd set. However, 2nd set does not nest at all. Disappointed.Date published: 2017-03-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Gene from The most durable set I have owned both the regular and the odd sized sets of spoons and cups for about 8 years, they are so worth it, they after the 8 years still look brand new. My friends look at all of the all clad that I own and ask me why I spend so much money on cooking equipment, I tell them that I oversee food for a restaurant and that I love to cook (they all know this) I tell them that it is all easy to clean, will last forever and I enjoy having great tools to work with just like a good mechanic likes quality tools.Date published: 2017-03-04Rated 5 out of 5 by lolicooks from A Classic Kitchen Staple I purchased the measuring cup and spoon set to upgrade my tired old plastic set, and what a difference. I feel like a classy cook in the kitchen. The cups and spoons seem to be of very high quality - they're weighty and very elegant. I know that sounds silly, but it's true. These were expensive, but a wonderful investment. I expect they will last me a long time. I am very happy with this purchase.Date published: 2017-02-21Rated 5 out of 5 by alexgal from Great spoons/cups If you like to bake/cook - these are totally for you: great handles, very sturdy construction, and more importantly, the quality is great!Date published: 2017-02-20
Can I use these cups on a gas cooktop?Actually I was looking for a little pot that I can use to warm up milk or make a porridge for a baby. These are the perfect size but I'm wondering would flames destroy the surface of the cup?It shouldn't. The measuring cups are All-Clad stainless steel after all, as are the outer surfaces of their pots.Date published: 2013-10-22
will the all clad measuring spoons rust? I have seen feedback that it can. What is the guarantee if it rusts?I"ve called all clad for assistance before and realize, they're not very good but williams-sonoma is known for taking things back esp in situations like this. Stainless shouldn't rust but can wear and patina. Use a metal polish if it starts changing on you or toothpaste, both work. What you may see instead is pitting so for example if you left tomato sauce on the measuring cup and dishwashed it, baking the sauce onto the stainless steel, it'll look like rusting... yes, you're supposed to clean out junk from the plates and stuff then "dishwash" it otherwise, you just bake the foods on it.Date published: 2013-10-22
What is a 1 1/2 tablespoon measure used for?I found it odd that a 1 1/2 tablespoon (4.5 teaspoons) measure was included. A 1/2 tablespoon (1.5 teaspoons) would have been helpful! What is a 1 1/2 tablespoon measure used for?I would use this measurement if I was increasing the recipe by half but not doubling. Also, sometimes, I want to add a bit more of a spice than is called for and this allows me to use one spoon instead of two spoons to accomplish the same result.Date published: 2013-10-22
What is the sku for the standard measuring cup and spoon set. I would like to register my warranty with all-clad, but threw away the box with the skuOften the "sku" is printed on the receipt! So if you have kept the receipt, either next to or directly below the item, will be printed the sku.... Sometimes, however, the # is the "item number", if that is the case.. you can contact the store and they can get it for you... Quick & easy. That's My best advice! ...Or... Just call store... Now!?... Save hassel of the whole receipt "thing"... Tell them exactly your "posted" question (i.e. Your problem!)!Date published: 2013-10-22
