I use it for all my veggiesDate published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Manic Mike from Nice Asparagus pot Nice pot that produced excellent Asparagus. Since it is narrow and tall, it is easy to store in my kitchen. I can forgive the bonded disc on the bottom, since it only boils water. All around a nice addition to the collection!Date published: 2018-12-13
Does the Asparagus Pot have a replaceable basket?Hi Majopa, Sorry, we do not offer replacement parts for purchase.Date published: 2019-06-10
No instructions were included- how far to you fill it w/ water so part boil & part steam?Hi Merry, Add an inch of water into your All-Clad asparagus pot and place it on a burner (the basket should not be inside the pot while getting it to a boil). Cover it with the lid and heat until the water boils. Place your asparagus into the basket, then insert the basket into the asparagus pot and cover. Cook until the tips are tender.Date published: 2019-05-24
No cooking instructions were included with my new asparagus pot. Approximately how long should I steam the asparagus for it to be tender?Hi Lor53, To use the All-Clad Asparagus Pot, place some salted or unsalted water at the bottom of the pan and bring it to a boil. Stand the asparagus spears upright in the wire basket and lower it into the water. The idea is that the stalks will be closer to the boiling water than the crowns, and this compensates for the fact they take slightly longer to cook. After 15 minutes or so (depending on the type and quality of the asparagus), the vegetables should be tender.Date published: 2019-03-20
Is the asparagus pot induction compatible?Hi George, This asparagus pot is not induction compatible.Date published: 2018-12-05
