Rated 5 out of 5 by ccol from Love it! I am very happy I bought this. I used it for soups, rice pudding, stew, sauces, bread... it is such a great product.Date published: 2019-03-28Rated 5 out of 5 by RichinNH from At last - a kitchen robot designed by cooks! I'm a gadget-freak, admittedly. I passed-over the Thermomix as too expensive, but bought the Bellini Kitchen Master. I found it interesting, but not very user-friendly. I upgraded to the All Clad Prep&Cook, and I can honestly say that it is remarkable. First of all, it was designed by All Clad's parent company - Moulinex - in France, where food is a passion and people know how to cook. Second, despite its control panel of multiple "automatic" settings, and a cache of different blades, it's amazingly straightforward to use and tweaking any recipe is easy. Third, it's very easy to assemble, clean (nearly everything is dishwasher-safe), and actually looks good on the counter. The only drawback is the cookbook - whose idea was it to use small red print on black paper?? Luckily, you quickly realize that although it ships with 300 recipes (many of them good), this is like a Food Processor or Mixer or any other kitchen tool - it can be adapted for your recipes, not just the ones it comes with. We made a Palestinian rocket soup in it last weekend, easily adapting a recipe to be made, now automatically. Our guests were amazed - a velvety creamy soup made without a stove or blender, and in a single step. I've done a risotto in it and can honestly say it was as good as what I was recently served in a very nice Italian restaurant - yet all I did was add the ingredients, push the button and walk away. It's expensive, but like most things All-Clad, well worth the money.Date published: 2019-03-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Suedolittle from Does everything I love it, I have found so many things I use it for, way more then I thought. Soups, custards, sauces, pizza dough, rice pudding, and much more. My husband laughs at me because I wasn’t sure it would be this useful but it’s great. The more you use it, the more things you realize you can do. The cookbook that comes with it is great and helps you get started but then you can expand from there. Very happy with my purchase.Date published: 2019-02-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Sue67 from Love It for making Sauces I bought this about a month ago, I have been using it more then I thought I would. Makes making a sauce without burning easy. Just made a vanilla sauce for my bread pudding, put everything in ,selected dessert 4 and away it went and made a perfect sauce without me standing there. I also have made pizza dough, marinara sauce, broccoli cheese soup, I have even used it to make mashed potatoes or mashed cauliflower, have boiled pasta in it. I could go on and on. As you can see I am really enjoying it. If you have this it just takes a little time playing with it and wow you can do a lot.Date published: 2019-02-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Rob from I would buy this product. This is perfect for people with not a lot of time. You can start something, i.e. a soup, after all ingredients are in, just let the Prep and Cook do the rest. It does a perfect job on dough for pizza crust or a couple other breads I tried. I found that the more I used it, the more uses I found for it.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Cricket from Seems like a good appliance, but a couple of drawbacks I received this from All Clad about a week ago. I have chopped an onion in it and made their cookie recipe. On the onion, it thoroughly chopped it using the "ultra blade". I made their oatmeal, chocolate, and peanut butter cookie recipe. It did a nice job incorporating all the ingredients.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Molly from Great product! I'm very happy with my All Clad product-- the design is sleek and appealing in the kitchen and its easy to use features made cooking easy.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Vince A. from Would love to use this Prep & Cook System again and agian I received this products a week ago, and for a week been thinking what recipe I would try make on it, looking on the cookbook that came with it to get some idea on how the machine work and I decide to make a Beef stew in Asian style (not in the cookbook) and it came out just perfect. after that I tried making some gravy, steam Fish and Rice Pilaf too (from cookbook) and all came just perfect.Date published: 2018-12-13
Is the container that the food is in completely stainless steel? With no rubber, plastic or silicone seals or connectors? I understand there are attachments but if you just use the main container is what I'm asking about. Thanks.Hi Delaney, The container is made of stainless steel, silicone and BPA-free plastic.Date published: 2018-12-07
