Use & Care

Use

  • Ideal for use with all cooktops, including induction.
  • For optimum results, use the 8" fry pan on a burner no larger than 6" in diameter; the pan may be used on a larger burner but induction compatibility may be affected.
  • Safe for use with metal spatulas, spoons and whisks as well as nylon, silicone, coated or wooden utensils.
  • Do not use other types of metal utensils, such as forks or knives.
  • Oven safe to 500°F.
  • Do not use aerosol cooking sprays; buildup over time will cause foods to stick.

Care

  • Allow pans to cool before washing.
  • Dishwasher safe.
  • Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
  • Stubborn food residue and stains can be removed with a nylon scrubbing pad and a fine-powdered cleanser.

Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

Sweet and Sour Panfried Sole Recipe

Make the sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, sesame oil, sugar and cornstarch. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute. Keep warm.

Prepare the fish
In a shallow bowl, lightly beat the egg. Spread the flour and panko on 2 separate plates. Season the flour with a pinch each of salt and pepper.

Just before frying, season the sole fillets with salt on both sides. Dip them first in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the panko, coating evenly each time and pressing the panko with your fingertips so it adheres.

Panfry the fish
Warm a large nonstick fry pan over high heat until just hot and add the corn oil. Add the fish and fry, turning once, until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Transfer the fillets to paper towels to drain briefly, then serve with the sauce. Serves 4.

The non-stick is damaged, but I am always very careful to only use rubber or wood spoons. Such a disappointment for a brand like this. Stick with the Cephalon, which is what I just purchased as a replacement.

Hand wash them and be careful not to toss things on top of them in the sink or storage area that would damage the surface. Very heavy and exactly what i needed. I plan to buy two more sets for my daughters!

I’ve followed all recommendations as to matching pan to burner size and the only way to use the pan is to turn the burner all the way up & then you may get low heat in the pan. The bottom of the pan has grooves in it which probably explains it. I’ve cooked on induction for years & these pans are just flat out awful. Besides that, the handles are terribly uncomfortable, digging into your hands. Definitely wasted my money on these. Do not buy!!

The surface started peeling up within a few months despite following all manufacturers instructions. I only ever used wood utensils and hand-washed it. All Clad has refused to honor their lifetime warranty. A complete waste of money. I suggest you go for different company.

I currently have all All-Clad cookware and can honestly say, to market these as induction pans is FALSE. I have to put the induction burner to “H” (High) to get a low temp reading on my pans - plus they cook unevenly. Worst thing that All-Clad and Williams-Sonoma has marketed. Wish I could return them for the Teflon variety.
