- For optimum results, use the chef's pan on a burner no larger than 7" in diameter; the pan may be used on a larger burner but induction compatibility may be affected.
- Safe for use with metal spatulas, spoons and whisks as well as nylon, silicone, coated or wooden utensils.
- Do not use other types of metal utensils, such as forks or knives.
- Oven safe to 500°F.
- Do not use aerosol cooking sprays; buildup over time will cause foods to stick.
- Allow pan to cool before washing.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
- Stubborn food residue and stains can be removed with a nylon scrubbing pad and a fine-powdered cleanser.

Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

Even though I was super careful with it, the pan still got scratched up after using it twice. It works great on my induction cooktop, easy to clean and very versatile. I have roasted a pork tenderloin, made risotto and cooked turkey burgers. Easy cleanup. The 8" pan is great for eggs and the 10" pan was not quite large enough - so we tried to purchase both the chef's pan and the 12" fry pan. We did get the chef's pan and it is every bit as good as the 2 smaller pans - with high sloping sides works great for stir-fry, but did not work well for pasta sauces. We order the 12 fry pan on-line, but we were told it was no longer available on line - they recommended we go to the closest WS store. The closer store is not convenient to get to - disappointed we could not get this pan, but love the three we have. Heat is even, clean up is a breeze. We have gas range and an induction burner and it works great on either. The fact that we can also use it in the oven is wonderful. This is my first NS1, my other All-Clad are the stainless D5's. It's not as heavy as the D5, seems a little on the light side but it heats up well and cooks evenly. I used it on my induction and had no problems. When purchasing the NS1 please keep in mind not all of them are induction, you need to read the labels and make sure it works with induction, you can also test it by putting a magnet to it. If it sticks and is magnetic you know it will work on induction. I also read the care manual and I noticed it said it was dishwasher safe and will not scratch with metal utensils but in the care manual it said some harsh dishwasher detergent can corrode the pan and it also says it can scratch. Well, that was a little contradicting but it didn't bother me because I never put my pans in the dishwasher and I can use plastic or wood utensil's while cooking.Date published: 2016-01-04Rated 4 out of 5 by aretephora from love it - great quality non-stick, but quite heavy love love love this pan. Is there non induction version of this pan?HI Paula, Are you looking for cookware made of hard-anodized aluminum without stainless-steel bases? If so, there's the All-Clad LTD collection: https://www.williams-sonoma.com/shop/cookware/cookware-all-clad/all-clad-ltd/. Price points for this collection will run higher than NS1 though as LTD is made in the US while NS1 is made in China.
